I am absolutely in love with this combo. Started with just the xcube 2 and was impressed, especially after the recent update that now made it a 180w mod. Very good price for almost 200w. Picked up the TFV4 running the quad coil, and this is a match made in heaven. She drinks juice like it's going out of style but flavor and vapor production are on point.

Getting me a Smok xcube2 and Kangertech Subtank tomorrow.....
I like the looks, tech and performance of the x-cube 2.
Think the Subtank will be an in between for the moment. I seriously consider going to RDA within a few weeks. Still a newb to subohming, so taking it slow.

That's an awesome combo the Smok XCube II and the TVF4. Taht tank in my opinion is the best tank on the market right now. I'm using 4 of them in the family and cracking open a mini TVF4 tomorrow

Everyone I know that bought it loves it. Me I haven't used anything else since using the Asolo. I just love the small size of that thing. I'm probably going to try the XCUBE soon. But I just cant get enough of the TFV4. Made all my other tanks extinct lol

Have my eye on the XCube also. Pros, cons? TIA.
So far I haven't run into any cons truthfully. I don't use temp control but have heard it's not that great. Battery life is amazing,I vape about 20ml a day and it lasts. Mod is a little on the heavy side but I like that about it.

Heavy mods are good they double as Brass Knuckles lol. I will say the TFV4 brings flavor out of juice like no other!

I ordered a XCube 2 today with two sets of Samsung 25R 18650 Cells and a charger, all for under €100 in the Netherlands. That's cheap over here, the mod details between €75 and €99, depending on where you order.
Also ordered a uwell crown tank with RBA base for under €50.
So not a subtank as I found the Subtank is a bit lacking in flavor compared to Smok TFV4 and Uwell Crown. Also found the Crown very comparable to TFV4 but esthetic a bit nicer.
Delivery will be tomorrow, but I am probably not at home in time, so I will only be able to enjoy the day after tomorrow.

Can I ask what to look for on the buggy ones? Was it a software issue or hardware failure?

From what I have seen here and on other boards so far the issues are as follows:

Sticky Firing Bar
Faulty Bluetooth
Buggy App
Loss of paid for upgrades
Jumps out of TC mode on its own

Like I said this is what I have seen people write about their experience it has not been mine. I sent mine back and got a different device because the Bluetooth was faulty. Some people have had absolutely no issues at all.

I like the snow wolf more then the xcube because of the chip and QC...the xcube has visual appeal but I think the snow wolf is overall better..

I considered the Snow Wolf, but over here it is without batteries 50% more expensive as an XCube 2 with 4 Samsung 25R and charger. Is it so much better?

I dont know where your looking at your sht but I got my Limited Edition SW200 for $91 Shipped and I got the Xcube for $58, both without Batteries. On Gearbest.com the SW White version is selling for 66.98...from the US warehouse. So an Extra 10 Bucks for much better product isnt that big of a deal..

Look around and find the best deal on both then decide....I thought the Xcube was better the the S but then after getting it and using it I wanted the SW for reliability...If your doing TC or want a product that doesnt have flaws then the SW is the one to get. If you dont mind flaws and it jumping out of different modes and TC isnt what your going to use and like big flashy things then the Xcube is the one to get...Deucesjack is right on with the issues of the Xcube, if it delivered on its advertised specs then it would be a great device but it falls short, I dont have a sticky firing bar though...

Living in the Netherlands, I regularly got surcharge for taxes, so I am careful ordering outside European Union. Especially since large tanks, high nicotine and more than 10 ml of juice is not allowed anymore, I risk customs confiscating material too. (They are on High alert concerning e-cig stuff). Over here SW costs €150, the XCube2 with 4 Samsung 25R (normally €11 a piece) and a charger costs €95. Also ordering locally is easier (and cheaper)for warranty claims.
Looking at eg. Alibaba.com I could order a complete XCube2 including batteries (2) and TFV4 atomizer for $76 (€71) I did it find SW there.

I love this combo myself, started off with just the XCube II when it first launched with the Atlantis v2 on it, i liked that but when i got the TFV4 it was perfect match. Using the triple coils at 90 watts, it is a juice guzzler but the clouds and flavour are spot on.

Just found this on reddit.
For any new X cube 2 owners, I found out why the bar was sticking, for me and for others. Smok said somewhere...to loosen the top 2 screws, and tighten the bottom 2. Well, now I know why. There is a small tab running underneath the bar, looks like part of the led/plastic part. The top part is catching the tips of the screws, they must be too long for the design, or the tab could be the problem.

That sticky fire button issue from what I've read so far seems to only happen on the black mods.
