Hi everyone! As promised, the following is my thoughts on the XTAR PB2S Portable Power Bank/Charger I won from the contest here on VU. The terms of the contest is that we leave a review. But since I am not a professional technical engineer I prefer to leave my thoughts as an end user.
First a big “Thank You” to @Shenzhen XTAR for hosting this giveaway on Vaping Underground to allow us the privilege & honor of being one of 30 people to have the first opportunity to use and share our thoughts on their newest products.
Included in my package was a Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 adaptor & a A-C USB charge cable for device. They also included a XTAR INR 18650, 2600mAh 35A & a XTAR 21700 INR 21700 4200mAh 45A battery. They are rewraps of the popular Molicel 18650 P26A & Molicel 21700 P42A respectively.
Firstly it charges your batteries when applicable depending on the batteries up to 2A for faster charging. Perfect for tossing in your bag for a day out to safely store your batteries in a sleek yet grippy soft to the touch case. Ready to be used as a spare for your vape, flashlights, etc.
Secondly it can be used as a portable power bank to charge any of your phones, tablets, headphones & other electric gadgets as it supports both USB A & USB C. Utilizing your phones charge cable for faster charging on the go. The charger detects the output depending on what you are charging, for example, if you have headphones that utilizes a lower charge input it automatically detects & switches to a lower amperage. And when charging for example your iPhone it will charge at a higher amperage.
The device is well made & sturdy & the battery contact on the bottom is genius as it slides to accommodate 18650’s, 20/21700 batteries beautifully without damaging your wraps.
It is now available on Amazon in the USA for $23.99 with free shipping.
