Well, I tested 91vg up to 200W, so it should handle it. Make sure the wick is laying gently over the holes, and not pushed in. You may need to have the jfc full open. If you like a tighter draw, open it fully, then close all 4 holes partly.
That 9% must make a huge difference....never had a problem with 80-90% VG.....100% VG Nude Nicotine unflavored it won't wick worth a damn....I'll put a drop of DW water in it.

There are some vg flavors, but I don't have any. And you can buy vg based nic.

Yeah, for my testing, I wanted some flavor, which is why it was 91vg, and not 100 vg :)

I was being literal, 100% VG can't include any flavoring or nicotine even if it's VG based. If it's 100% VG based then it usually comes in at 90-96% VG depending on how strong the flavor is, how high the nicotine, etc. 100% is noticeably thicker than even the 94% VG shit because the fact there's flavorings and nicotine in it. 100% VG is just, pure glycerin. It's as thick as batter.

The only flavored juice NN sells is 100% VG....I also buy the unflavored 6mg nic for a change of pace, gives the taste buds a break.

When you add flavoring or nicotine it by literal physical concentration cannot be 100% VG. The 100% VG they use means 100% VG as a base, the liquid itself is not 100% VG. That's what I mean. 100% VG Base + Flavoring + Nicotine. I'm talking about the entire liquid, not the base. Literally vaping 100% VG would be using unflavored vegetable glycerin with no flavors or additives. The shit is THICK, DIYers know what I mean, it's damned near impossible to wick even in RDA's. It's slow to wick into cotton. The addition of even minute amounts of flavoring and nicotine take away that pure, goo like viscosity it has and makes it easier to wick into cotton.

Math, what a wonderful thing :D. I made just eggs this morning, but I put in one egg I mixed with some tomatoes and onion, but it was just eggs :p

100% VG is all I use in my squonkers....I'm not a tank guy, the Boreas Crown and Goblin are the only tanks I use...I like intense flavor which cannot be achieved like a RDA on a squonker.

Intense flavor and pure VG bases do not mix in my experience. VG is a horrible flavor carrier, it CAN carry flavor, just not well. Most companies use really potent flavorings in high VG juices to cancel out this effect. A lot of '100% VG' juice is actually just PG-free juice. Using Ethyl Alcohol or something of the like as a flavoring base.

I love nude nicotines flavored 100% VG....delicious, but using BF RDA's on Squonkers is a different ballgame, which shouldn't be compared to any tank.

But it's not 100% VG, it's Max VG. As in it's as much VG as is possible given the amount of nicotine/flavoring in it. It'd be like adding Gatorade powder to water and saying it's 100% water, it's simply untrue. Now, it doesn't really matter as I doubt anyone vapes 100% VG outside of either pallet cleansing or other weird situations, but fact remains it's not 100% if it has nicotine or flavoring in it. Again are my eggs with tomato and onion 100% eggs?

Yup, 100% base, base != the whole. My breakfast base is eggs, sometimes I go with potato and eggs, but then I add in extras like salt, ham, bacon, onion and/or tomatoes. So in the end it's not 100% the base, it's simply as much of the base as possible given the flavoring additions made. I eat a max eggs breakfast sometimes, sometimes a 50/50 eggs/potato mix :D, but rarely ever 100% egg.

I test all new juice in RDAs before I load any into a tank. Congrats on your new juice!

Thank you, thank you! The other I whipped up wasn't as good, but it's close and with a bit of tweaking it should be good to go for larger batch sizes.

Black Cherry and Cookie! Also waiting on an Apple Pie to steep, and a pretty complicated one I took a chance on that was based off of the idea you gave me. Tried what you mentioned out, and after tasting it I've tweaked it a bit; we'll see how it turns out! :)

Think I'm finally starting to get the hang of accurate measurements and flavor profiles with the flavorings I have, it feels pretty awesome!

Oh, trust me...I have about 20 good recipes now, but I still make some bad juice sometimes! I accept I will have failures :D

for the sake of making it easy for the average non diy person
the shop here calls it 100vg when he makes juice with vg base nic and vg base flavor..
there is zero pg in it. so maybe they should call it 0 pg

Curious on your wattage setting also. Because the higher I went with testing, the thinner the juice got from heat. High vg is heavy on my chest, but as I went higher on the power, it got easier for me to vape.

Yup and hence the term Max VG, the most you can get given the additives required for flavor/nicotine. Sorry, I'm just a bit obsessed with usage of accurate terms.
Nude nicotine uses the letters-numbers 100% VG....that's all I know...I'm not in the juice or nicotine business....:)

I was at 60 watts....then I toned it down to 45....no dry hits now.

I'm thinking about nudging up my pg levels a little (up from 50/50) because even at my measly 1.1 build I'm fogging up my office a little too much

I've done the same thing, too much cloudage and with the thick vapes having to cough up some of that remaining VG, so I swapped to more PG.

Last time I used 50/50 my tank pissed juice all over the table. Last time I vape fucking Lost Art outside of an RDA.

I test all RTAs with pure PG before I even dream of putting real juice in it.

First off, I don't waste valuable juice that way, and secondly, I don't have to worry about whatever I throw in it later if it can hold pure thin pg.

I used to vape 30/70 because I am not too interested in clouds, but I'm one of those weirdos who likes the taste of vg so I went back to 50/50.

I wick based on high VG content, usually 80/20 blends. So I use VERY little wicking, so when I put 50/50 blends in my RTA's it pisses out over a few hours. Pure PG is thinner than water.

I have some bizarre fetish for nude nicotine juice. After trying probably 75 different brands....theirs tastes the best to me.

Have about 5 gallons of their nicotine in the garage freezer if hell ever broke lose regarding vaping regulation

If that happened, I'd sell everything move to South America permanently, and live happily ever after.....

I started DIY mixing 50/50 with 3% of the VG as DW. I've found that with the DW added, wattage would need to be lower. Thinner juice was necessary for the protanks I was using at that time. However, now, I do prefer higher VG in tanks with better airflow and wicking and mix max VG as well now. I notice more atty pop with higher concentration of PG.

I feel that shit, I have 3 gallons of DIY nicotine in the fridge, over 8 of flavorings and 10 even of VG, 4 of PG. The funny thing is I don't even DIY often, I'm just paranoid. This is also why I have 10 DNA200 boards, 2 DNA40 boards, 1 SX350J-V2 board and several parts of unregulated box mods lying around and why I buy multiples of my favorite rebuildable devices. It's also why I only use rebuildable devices.

But not so freely used the kinds we're so often using in our juices won't drastically go up in price and lower in availability. It's all about the market, and don't think those companies know where HUGE amounts of their product is going as far as certain flavorings.

Too true. I've grown lazy and refill now pouring directly from amber glass bottles to speed up the process. Occasionally I'll get a little dribble down the middle.

Teheheheh - Yeah, I filled it using one of those now-inadequate droppers - once. Fortunately I had the foresight to buy some 100 ml unicorn bottles from fast tech recently that came in a few days before the Boreas, lol.

That's why the fill openings are so big. With the capacity I figured no one would want to fill it with an eye dropper that holds 0.5ml.

I tend to always have a bottle of unflavored juice sitting around in case I run out, waiting for juice to steep, etc etc. Usually 90/10 or 80/20 though, it's a pleasantly humble flavor. I'm not too big on clouds either, but I hate throat hit. 50/50 is death and 60/40 is mehhhh not about it :p

I generally mix in 120 ml bottles. 30 ml bottles are easy to refill with. I've learned to steady the bottle against the top of the tank with a finger in contact with both tank and bottle while pouring in juice. Figured this out after having the lip of the bottle slip off the lip of the tank several times.

This is true, but the FIRST thing that will vanish off the market are high end boards and modding parts when the shit hits the fan. Negative and positive channel mosfets will go nowhere, those are VERY commonly used fuses, same with T-10/T-20 style DC-DC converters that are in things like the Hex-Ohm. Those regulators were used in things like water pumps and electric motors long before vaping ever picked them up. Those are very popular electronics parts, just like anti-vandals, tactile switches, resistors, silver/nickel/copper wire, etc. Same with Hammond enclosures. 510's may stay, as there's no way to limit them. But high end boards will go like fucking lightning, so it's nice to have some on hand. You can also get basic T-20 regulators or unregulated parts, but high end boards will be the last surviving relics of a lost age if the FDA pulls the trigger on vaping.

Wish I had more time to make new mods. Extra boards would be smart to have. Which boards and or which mods on the cheap would be recommended to have for repair/making new mods?

Cheap? DNA40's and SX350J-V1's. Or if you want bare bones, cheapest of cheap, DC-DC regulators like the OKR/OKL T-10/T-20 and Raptor chips will always be around for dirt prices. If you want quality, DNA200's, SX350-J V2's, soon to release SX450's.
