YOU HAVE HAD IT AND DIDNT EVEN TRY IT YET??? I should straight up manhandle you!! You will soon feel like the rest of us....after you learn what does what it becomes a much simpler mod...easier to use then you think. Make sure to try xXx mode...just dialing the FSK will be your biggest step for TC'ing all metals...even combined.

We have plenty of room in Arizona....and it's a hop skip and jump to San Diego for the weekend retreat.....:)
I spent a few years in Mesa. I'll tell you one summer day we drove to San Diego. It was 115F the whole way until we reached the Ocotillo pass (I think that's what it was called) on I8. It was in the mid 70's on the other side. It was like there was a force field keeping the nice weather on that side. San Diego is beautiful, you couldn't ask for better weather year round. Mesa on the other hand was like living on the surface of the sun during the summer :giggle::D

Cheers,
Steve

If I knew how to do the electrical part of it and found a place to sell the FSK chip, I'd make my own wood box.......just dreaming, that's all....

Here's some photo evidence of that story. The part I left out is our AC had broken down and in my Girl Friends infinite wisdom, she decided it would be best to roll down the window during the drive. It was 4% humidity at 115F. I swear I drank over a gallon of water and was still drier than a stick of Beef Jerky. When I saw San Diego Harbor, I almost jumped in from the moving car :giggle::giggle::giggle:

May I say that AVAIL simply sucks?? I wanted to buy the vapor flask classic from them, but they don't ship to California. I already know that California sucks with all the restrictive laws and extra taxes, but now the vendors not shipping to California just puts it over the top!
Lmfao, same exact problem here. Wanted to buy 2 Classics went to checkout and Bam they don't ship to NY. WTF is their problem?

I'm positive there is a triple battery Hohmtech device coming soon.

I had a specs sheet but lost it, the FSK chip in the G2 was designed to do 200W on three 18650s.
Yea I know it could do well over 200w but they limited it...They said they weren't doing another high wattage device like the G2, they said they wanted to go into a different direction...this is why I didnt think that they were making a triple 18650, but if they are I am buying one the moment it comes out.

That would be an awesome mod, but all the waiting.......I wish they'd hurry the hell up before i spend my vaping funds on :poop: I stop using after a month or two!

As much as I can't stand this guy...

Read the third comment after his 300W idiocy.

@Dawn0810 , did you get your Hohm Slice yet? I ordered mine on Wednesday and I didn't even get a shipping notice yet.
They sent me the tracking number which I never bothered to track so I did yesterday because it should have been here and it says preshipment info but I only got it for the light blue and not the silver one so idk

My G2 is being finiky.... It's giving me an error saying the resistance exceeds the battery limits, but only when I screw the atty all the way in. If I back it out a bit it seems to read it better but even still isn't 100%... Also worth noting that the builds are .14 and up. Is there a firmware upgrade that fixes this or is this a faulty box or should I just got to the distributor about it?

Any update on this?
Preshipment info but it's weird because I haven't got one for the silver one. I'm thinking because the silver is probably one of the most common ones and Tiffany blue may not be we will see I'll let you know the day it starts moving to me I was waiting for the mailman yesterday but atleast my 213 came in.

Are you resetting the resistance by pressing the fire button before you attach a new atty?

Clean your connections, your 510, your Battery ends, your battery connectors.....If not its your batteries not giving the needed voltage for the algorithm used. This has happened to me a number of times when my mod was either dirty in the 510 of my batteries had high cycles or were crappy cells

Out of curiosity, what is everyone using for batteries in the g2? I do have a new pair of VTC4's I could use, but I'm really liking the LG batteries.

I do have several 25R's, but they are all quite used. You like the HB2's and 4's better than the HG's? The brown ones are all I have. Haven't tried the HB's yet.

Paul, I have been using the Brownies in mine. No problems except if I'm driving it real hard, then I start noticing battery sag when it starts reading below 20% life. If I'm not driving them hard, then I don't even notice. I took some down yesterday to like 5% before I noticed.

LG HG2's should be fine as long as you aren't driving it to max output and at the end of a charge. I agree with Raymo that 25R's are great batteries and Samsung is known to under-rate their batteries (what a concept in this day and age). Samsung's are rated at 20 amps but can be pushed higher without heating up past a safe level.

If you consider HG2's are rated at 20 amps, even at 3.5v (each) that is still 140 watts on the input side of the chip. Figuring a 90% efficient chip that would be 126 watts on the output side. IMO that's worst case scenario because most people/mods won't run their batteries below 3.5v. Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Steve
