How long will vaping last in it's current form?

I have stockpiled enough vaping stuff to last me a decade or two.

I wonder will vaping still be a thing by then?
Or will it exist in a different form with ultrasonic? Laser, etc vaporizers?

Will I be totally out of fashion vaping 10 years from now?

vape gear has been evolving rapid in recent years and will continue no matter what goverments try to do. quite simple its a consumer led revolution VAPE ON and prosper my friends.
Yep but it still uses the sam old principle of heating a resistance wire element.
They do embed some of it in ceramic now though.
But then we had ceramic donuts well over a year ago....

As long as big tobacco produces cancer sticks there will always be vaping. I also think vaping will still use wire coils to produce vaper unless the industry can produce a warm vape without heating a wire. Half of the satisfaction is the warmth . I personally do not like cold vaper.

Hah, trying to predict what might be in fashion in the vape world 10 years from now is IMO totally a guessing game :)

I do think vaping will still be a thing in 10 years. The cat's out of the bag now and no-one is going to be able to stuff her back in there :grumpy:

The next few years will be very interesting to say the least. If governments don't get too ridiculous with regs things could be really good down the road. I think resistance wire will be around for a long time. It's just too easy and can be controlled with electronics very well. Then again, one new development could change all that in a heartbeat.

I think we will have to wait ten years to find out.

I too feel prepared for at least the next ten years with what I like now - but I thought that when I first started stockpiling a little over two years ago, and now all that gear is crap, lol.

As long as my mechs and rdas still work, I am good. I am sure anything electronic I have won't work unless I build it.

If worse comes to worse, I even have a stash of a dozen cigalikes and about 100 cartos. If I wanna really swing, I also have about 10 vivi novas with 808 threads - and the batteries to match.

OHH I forgot about the Vivi's got 10 of em a while back on a clearance for .39 each with 2 extra coils included.
They are the final fallback though.

Tried one had to soak in in alc for a while to get the plastic flavor out.
Was ok after that, just butthole tight draw.

Okay, since we're going there I can pull out a v2 or three, in multiple flavors.

Let's just say I recently placed a $500 bet that today's tech will be good enough (for me at least) to last into the foreseeable future...I haven't broken a mod since I stopped buying anything eLeaf, so all I've got are regulated mods piling up and collecting dust as I move from one to the next, even though the next isn't really any better now that I've had an established vaping preference for a couple years now. If the mods stop tomorrow and I wear out one a year, I'm still good into the mid-'20s...

As far as using electrical current to heat wire wrapped around a wick still being a thing a few years from now? There's a good chance something else pops up, but wrapping paper around tobacco, setting it on fire and then letting it smolder awhile lasted for 100 years or so before it was surpassed by something better...

Well IDK.. Consider that as little as 1 maybe 2 years ago .... Vaping at .5ohm and less was only for the daring and very advanced vapers. Few mods on the market even fired at less than 1 ohm. Today .2ohms is a beginners build. The only place to find a NON sub-ohm starter kit is the Gas station.

What is the current form of vaping anyway? I think it's still too new to even know what the average vape is. I only know that most Newbies are vaping at levels I consider extreme. They are starting at a level that leave little room for growth or even finding that perfect vape. Gets harder and harder to get more from your vape when you start out at MAX.

i have shoe boxes full of vape gear and 90% still vape on 1.5 ohm gs air
I vape about 30% on a .75 GS aiur2 in an Istick basic. Just too good of a pocket vape to not vape on it when outside doing stuff.

I find it funny the ad words Joe implemented in my post link to stuff promoting that which we cannot speak of on this forum...

Edit: nevermind, clicked the link and I'm a dummy...

I like Isticks. I don't have the Pico - yet.

Mine have held up for many months and show no sign of giving up anytime soon. I have two 60W and two 50W

Mine did at first - but I've never been strong in the wicking dept.

It doesn't spill a drop now, but I find it weak flavor wise and it has a hard time keeping up with me when I'm in a mood to seriously chain-vape.

Think I have four lemo 2's....like juice said, not really a fan of the tank...if I remember it was dry hits or leaks...probably due to my poor wicking though.

I had both when I first got it

The dry hits and poor wicking was my fault. The tepid flavor is on them

Well if worse ever becomes real bad, I have a few of them boxed away cuz I got tired of messing around with them.

Then again, I have a shit load of pre-punched cartos that tasted better, if ya can get past the thin straw in a thick milkshake type draw.

I bought one of those Vapresso Gemini tanks a couple weeks ago with the ceramic coils, it's in the stockpile cabinet too....:)

Haven't tried them, but who knows what may be available if the cole bill doesn't pass.

I so want to buy another mod but this is supposed to be a means to an end so the wife would not be cool with it at all. Too bad I can't use cash at the local shop since its prices are super high!

All of my local shops act like this fda thing is no big deal and nothing will change for them. They said juice may get a bit more expensive but since they have clean rooms for mixing, that they expect things to go on as normal. Any idea why they are not concerned? Is it an act or are they just clueless as to what is going on?

Clean room or not every single one of their juices and all of the hardware they sell will have to become FDA approved within 2 years or so.

Unless they are just clueless they are planning on making as much money as they can before the axe falls. And do not want any customers going over to DIY before they close their doors.
