Me too, sometimes That sea air...I wish I lived near the coast..
Happy Easter to you as well. And thank you for the contest extension.Again this has been extended until the end of the month and there will be a third winner!!
And I may not be able to make it here tomorrow so
I think i need to ditch the k cups and start making it by the pot again
Well it started as an idea from my wife. She doesn't drink coffee, so she didn't understand why i needed to make it by the pot. So we bought a keurig. Then when i started my new job, they had one at work, so i kept buying the k cups. Now i'm not too picky, so i buy the cheap ones from big lots, ollie's bargain outlet, walmart, etc.I will never understand the pod people.

you make a good point. I do use a reusable pod quite often, because ground coffee is cheaper than those throw aways.I drink it black so I can't stand cooked coffee sitting on a hot plate. But I have been using single cup coffee makers for years (long before pods ever showed) to get a fresh cup every time. 100 #2 coffee filters are $1.99 - each filter is good for two 10-12 ounce cups - and we get coffee as low as $3.99 a pound at Ocean State Job Lot. Add it all up and the whole pod thing pricing just seems obscene. Not to forget the land fill pile all those pods add up to.
