Thanks so much. Well here is what we were told today:
Blood work still abnormal, 3 hot spots showed up on my bone scan, one on a rib, which did not hurt til the dr. Decided to poke around and now it does. I have an order for more blood work and they are referring me to an oncologist. Pretty scared right now.

So @VapeOn86 what do I need, well like Time said, to get better. What do I want, to get better! What is within reason to ask for : I need hardware, I really would love a tobh, since I will never be able to afford one of the high end mods, so I would be happy with a clouper like the 100watt or 150w box a Siegel 100 watt something like that a zen clone, anything like that would be very cool!

But whatever you guys giveaway and whoever gets it, on a serious note, thank you not only for the giveaways but a place where people can hang out, support each other and talk! It's done me a world of good!
Continuing to keep you in my prayers hun lots of hugs and love to .

Just got a Hurricane drip tip today and had it at work and my coworker knocked my mod over and broke the glass part. Was pretty mad. What pissed me off most was that she acted like it wasn't a big deal. :(:eek:o_O:confused:

I'm still up, at steak and shake, wishing I was drunk, trying to finish homework. Such is life.

@Damwow, when we figured out he has autism I did a bunch of research and two things that kept coming up were their issues with being touched and their need for routines. I said that simply isn't going to work for us so we took to holding, hugging, and rough housing with him every time we could. Today he loves getting and giving hugs and is okay being touched.

We also did everything we could to break any routine anytime we saw one developing and tell his teachers every year to try to mix up his day as much as they can given a standard daily routine.

One thing that has really helped with acceptance is after about a week of school a couple of teachers with training in working with kids who have autism come into the class and do some something to help the kids realize that they are all different and talk openly about things they see him doing that are different and talk about how that is the way he deals with stress. Basically we let them ask any questions they have about him and autism and just get it completely out in the open. It is the single best thing we have done for his successful integration into the classroom and the kids in class have been awesome.

Another thing that helps, is that during a meeting we have with his new teacher and school staff, we make it clear that we understand that he is not the only student in the school and that not all the resources of the school are to be thrown at his development and care. We are a team and need to work together and we respect their knowledge, expertise and efforts. So far we have had a great relationship with the schools and it actually helps him get more attention simply because everyone really enjoys working with him and us :)

Really hope that you get well enough to at least get into your classroom a couple of hours a week just to help your kids out. I know it must be really tough to be separated from a job you love and know that you are helping to form the next gen ;)
Good for you guys! When I first started with this girl, she hated to be touched. It had to be on her terms, but we finally got her to the point were we could initiate those hugs. I will say this, by no means do I mean it to come off as tooting my own horn!!!!!, but I was really worried about the substitute and stressed I preferred one particular one, because I knew that she wouldn't just be good with my babies, she believed like I do that they could learn and values them!!! It is very hard, I feel like I have deserted them. When I had my mother take me to see them last week, and one of my babies (with autism), put his arms around me and said you aren't going to die are you? I was like awe Buddy not for a long time!

@Thayer and all I did was coil and wick it with the coil and silica it came with. I think it will be better with a real coil like 30guage or 28guage and my rayon wick.

I've been wanting one for a wail I have built several for others I did dual twisted 28g 8wrap with jap cotton and was great I found that it you build both coils with one wire and a bend in the middle it's easier to trap the wire on the post

My cheap stuff is juice and wicking material. My big ticket item would be a series box mod.

Little things would be tanks and coils - mini Nauti's maybe? Big things? Well, aside from DIY supplies, a monster 100W+ box mod could be fun... not sure what I would do with all that power, but it'd be fun :)

I would be furious of course I was raised to do what's right and replace anything I break or mess up that isn't my own... guess people today don't have the same morals and values we grew up with...

My oldest son was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia when he was almost 3 yrs he went through 3 years and 9 months of chemotherapy I had so many scares and bad days but had to stay strong and positive for him many nights at the hospital I'd go out for a break and lose it I cried so many tears I had none left. It's terrifying as hell but by the grace of God he's 18 now and has never went out of remission. Try to keep faith and I won't eve Stop Praying for you to have full health. You can private message me anytime if you need someone to talk to I don't have internet right now but when I'm at my neighbors I always check the forum...

I just want to say thank you to Watch and Vapeon86 and everyone in this awesome thread.

I feel that I have already received more than I ever deserved from Watch.
I think if I ever win anything here again I will PIF it to one of the great people I have met here.

Unless.........
it was a 100 WATT BOX MOD, then Id' keep that bitch all to myself and never share it with anyone. It would be mine, all MINE! and I would name it and pet it and build it a little bed to sleep in and would take it for walks outside and we would be bestest friends.

We will see where the day will lead .....

Thanks everyone for your good thoughts and prayers! Was a rough night last night, was having a great deal of pain, that was a "new" one. Really weird.

Was a really long nigh! I was watching vapers TV and drooling as some of the people were talking about their big box mods! Lol

Hopefully the pain gets better soon, I know how much it's hurting you to not be able to be back with the kids, probably more so than your body, which is part of why I know that the kids you have taught are some of the luckiest students, even if they don't realize it now. I truly hope you get better so that you can go back to doing what you love so much.
