Vaping is iras own subculture, Squonking is a subculture of a subculture. I see these pics of gear that costs in excess of 500 dollars and we view this as normal ...
A 50 dollar kit was all I needed when I began. Now I'm looking at 300 dollar devices as everyday vapes. I can never have enough enough squonk gear it seems. Am i in trouble?
Funny u say that a guy on bookface pmed me asking if i wanted another bliss i told him yes always but depending condition and price he said brand new never fired stickers still on it i said sweet how much he said cant sell for rrp i paid more so okay how much he said 525 i almost pulled the trigger

@So619Cal , what's the word on that new Haku? Will that new cap fit the Phenom? It looks like something more my speed with the more restricted air. I just hope he gets the squnoking clue and the well isn't deep.

No idea, they did a teaser post and nothing yet.

Without a deck picture it's just a cap.

Really debating on trading one of my Haku's for the Hussar...but I'll grab the clone first to see

I guess it's a wait and see! Is the Hussar a better atty? Tighter draw? It looks like a fixed air flow.....kinda like the Apple of rda's iHussar v1.0:cuss2:

Well I bought my first thing from FB group squonk donkey top cap for my pulse. 25.00 dallars. And I have to dig a o ring out of the spares for one of my pulses. Lol. 25 and you can't throw in a 10 cent or ring.

That's part of the super secrecy of the facebook groups though. *grin*

Still no idea what to think of that damn Bastion thingy.

First the good, it's Innokin and they are reputable for making good product. It is also a regulated mod which if you need that is of value. Alright, now I'll go on to my view. Apologies if my view holds an unbalanced number of negative points. You can take or leave my thoughts for what they're worth, or they're not worth. :)

That looks highly awkward to me. Not sure I like the idea of a vacuum built in as such. Yes, I know when one squonks it creates a vacuum, then you let off the vacuum goes to negative pressure. What this seems to go toward is a constant vacuum under pressure.

I would think that would lead to more wear down, more quickly. You would constantly have juice on the 510 pin to erode it away more so. Of course, this only from me seeing one video and consider too I'm human ergo prone to error, might be not seeing it correctly.

Filling from the top of mod like that reminds me of the top filled tanks. Sure, I reckon lots of folks find that handy. Not sure I could myself. I rather prefer taking a bottle out of a mod, fill the bottle insert full bottle back into mod and go. For myself the way I'm doing it seems the crux of simplicity.

All in, I would need to use one of these to give it further review. Not currently interested enough to seek out much as far as "new" product. These might indeed be the knees of bees. :) Don't let my discouragement above stop you from trying them out and seeing for yourself. I'm just writing what I think from what little I see of it in the video.

Well, I better get to ambling on a bit. Got some housework to do & I might ... who knows?

Haha I’m actually off today. Had to drive across town to get my car looked at. They give me a free rental while they have my car so it’s worth it to me.

I’ve actually got a black delrin Li-Mo DNA 75 with an extra stab wood door coming ;)

Anyone ever swap a Mod Maker 510 for a Mod Dog Nano? I’m wondering if the hole for the treaded section needs to be modded to fit.

MM510 the Diameter of the flange is the same, the thickness is different with the MM510 being .5mm and the threaded part is 12mm

MD510 has a 10mm thread and the thickness of the flange is 1mm

Length of the 2 is different also with the total length of the MM510 being 20.5mm and the MD510 17.8mm

Okay so if I’m going from a MM510 to a MD510 that should be fine. The added washer that makes the MM 510 from 16mm to 22mm makes the landing pad 1mm thick... so long as the nut is tight on the threads the hole size should be fine as well. Thanks!

Also depends on the type of mod ;) conventional box squonker with the L shaped contact...the connecting point will be different and also if you're using the MD510 bridge or not can change how firm the button is and the throw distance.

Yeah, if it can fit, the large nut is worth the extra $1.50.

Tempted to grab a sunbox game over from Squonk Radar when they go up on the site.

Also I suck at measurements. About to setup a stereo and my receiver is just a little too wide for my tv stand ;_;

Saw his post about those...but I've also read of mosfet failures on them recently on FB where they weren't responding to people and Customer service responses warranty etc.

Yep well designed Mosfet circuits are great. However ones that are not designed properly and have a tiny little SMT Mosfet that cannot dissipate the power/heat generated with normal operation...

So the posts were answered, the Dudes of I'M etc were at a vape Expo so the whole weekend they weren't answering anything lol...

They said he could buy the replacement Mosfets from them directly.

Still doesn't change that a few posted int he same thread within 2 months of usage they killed a few...but they didn't elaborate on their usage... like 50w vaping or CloudsBroClouds near amp limit vaping.

Edit: Could just be the fail % that all manufacturing experience...or anything really...just speculating

Even at a .0017 on resistance for a B3034 PBF Mosfet 20 amps will still generate around .7 watts and those mosfets on the switchfets are tiny...
and I am not sure what the on resistance is for those mosfets on the switchfet boards.

Using a full sized B3034PBF mosfet one should be fine though since they have a heatsink on the 220 package and are rated at a max of 375 watts with proper (massive) cooling. So intermittent use at .7 watts should not be an issue.

And with the B3034PBF the minimum on resistance is with 4.5 volts VGS. Since single battery mods will operate more around the 3.7 volt range the on resistance will be higher than .0017 ohms. I expect the switchfet mosfets are similar in this respect.
And as the on resistance rises so does the heat dissipated in the mosfet rise.

DPM no?

EDIT: If you like the Ss FP, could pop it off and micro mesh it to remove the mirror finish...Micro mesh is only a few bucks ;)

Just MM it in the same direction

I think that’s what I want to do is give a brush finish for the time being. Just PM’d a mod from DPM to see what my options are. Thanks for the tips!

Hi all. Got this mod and rda for review. With some time I'll post it up! The 2nd version if this mod just came out a few weeks ago. So far this one is full of flaws which is disappointing since it retails for $190....
