Do you have a cotton hook? Make sure the wicks aren't touching the edge of any of the 4 small air tubes... after you juice it up, you can gently (without scratching it up...) slide the sharp-ish tip of the cotton hook downward along the side of each air tube to create that little bit of spacing between the wicks and air tubes, as doing that will prevent juice running down the wicks go over the edges into the air tubes.

Can’t check as I already sent it back, but for some reason I was thinking it was in the second batch. Issue was it would read low batt and not turn on. Thought the update might fix it but it didn’t.
