Heaven from hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?"

You are not alone....It took me 3 hours to realize what he was talking about
A fantastic Floyd tuneFelt compelled to respond though for various reasons
Hey happy bday MMMNo, can not tell. Stopped attempting to tell a while back. Instead, I run off inside to quiet the illusions outside. It seems to help me by allowing time, means to reshape, re-frame, reform perceptions, thoughts, let emotions come and be acknowledged then pass on.
Turned 47 years today at 23:03 EST in 1972. Like to think somewhere I have actually listened to wisdom, walked in its profoundness and learned something, even the smallest granule of a molecule would be nice. Can I say for certain I have? Again, no. Can only do the best able, strive to do better as I go.
Yeah, I know that's from a Floyd tune and didn't need response. Felt compelled to respond though for various reasons, some a bit selfish, others not selfish in the least bit. Been coming into realizing a lot I put off realizing & in realizing that, also realizing that which needs manifest in my life. Gee, I think that was called growing and maturing once, if my memory can be trusted.
Are you on web or Tapatalk? I have to turn my phone sideways to see some of the things on the web version. Makes it hard to moderate when I forget. Like I know theres a button for this. LolYou are not alone....
I haven't figured out how to quote just a part of the post on a phone either. Can only reply to whole message.

Scrolled through this thread forever and almost killed my phone battery but I wanted to tell you, this is my favorite picture in this thread.View attachment 135621
took this using a light box to diffuse the light source
Have 2 lights with orange filters on to give it a more natural light exposure one each side
just a phone shot (iPhone 8 plus) but used a mount to steady the camera
Have a wood block underneath
Light editing on the phone itself to crop the image and bring out the grain a little better
Basic 1.1 RDA on The Furyan (disassembled and brass areas cleaned up with Wright’s copper cream)
Simple, elegant, and well executed.Scrolled through this thread forever and almost killed my phone battery but I wanted to tell you, this is my favorite picture in this thread.

Thank you all for your entries and participation! This was another great challenge that all of us on the challenge team had a blast with!
I will be posting winners later this evening after we’ve all deliberated and ran the random.org thing.
How The Prizes Will Be Selected
The challenge team will vote on a final list based on helpfulness and shots we think are great….we will announce the winners after it closes.
(No random roll for this one)
We have chosen the winners but need random to assign prize packs to said winners.Random roll?? Since when?
I'm not against it, but it's news to me.
We have chosen the winners but need random to assign prize packs to said winners.

Honestly that would be difficult since it was a cumulative effort by everyone on the challenge team. It would be like asking 6 different people what there favorite Monet is and why.Do we find out what were the 13 shots? Curious
