So some of you know me on a more personal level than others here but I want to share with everyone as you guys are family to me as well. Back in the end of 2018 my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. She went through chemotherapy twice a month for 6 months. Was a long and unexpecting road we traveled. She was a trooper and only took two days off every month to recover from the treatments. We were lucky enough that both of us work for the same person. Two different companies but the same check signer. Every month I was able to cover her shifts at night while she rested, and still work my day shifts. We got really lucky there. Was tough for a while. But Im so grateful to announce that the is cancer free in remission. Never really knew what the outcome would be but Im more of a realist and usually expect the worse. I want to thank all my friends here for the support and encouragement shown to my wife and I. You guys are amazing. Thank you. Now let's party like it's 1999. She told me last night that after going through all this she doesn't want to smoke cigarettes anymore. For all of us. Her health and the 5 kids we have. She tried to quit when she found out about the cancer but the worry kept her smoking. That worry has been pushed aside and she's ready to put the death sticks down. Thank goodness. Lol I knew I kept buying her mods for a reason. She may or may not join us here. Haven't gotten that far with it. But yayyyyyyy. She's quiting and cancer free. Woo-hoo.
