First question is....what is the purpose of the LED?
If it is to be always on....then between the MOSFET and the switch....but make sure that the LED can handle the load. I have seen many LED fire buttons not handle the pulse load. I would test it under load before drilling your hole and permanently affixing it to the box. test using a pair of 35amp pulse freshly charged batteries.
Between the switch and connector.....but no LED that I am aware of can handle that load. You would not be able to see it of course.
I'd go bigger ~500+Ω, but that will depend on the LED, I imagine you want a glow and not a flashlite.What if i used a 470 ohm resistor?
