I have a yogurt flavoring, but have yet to try that. I'll need to remember that next time I mix. I see it could be highly used, but I try to minimize vaping the flavorings with "the bad stuffs" in it.
I feel concerned about these ingredients, too, but so far can't get any real resolve when it comes to the baddies. It was a big deal to me (i.e., I gave myself lots of gold stars) when I ordered almost all FA flavors in my original DIY purchase. But now I keep making exceptions. Right now, my personal rationalization of choice is that I should at least
try out the original flavors for the sake of my learning process--for science, really, if you think about it. In a very specific and limited way.
And I want to be able to tell by smell, for instance, if something has diacetyl or acetyl propionyl in it, like people say they can do. Plus, I want to know what I'll be missing, exactly. I should at least take that into account (or so my reasoning might go...)
Unfortunately, the more I read about the risk/lack of risk/relative risk that might be entailed, the more uncertain and subject to rationalization my decisions become. It reminds me of that George Harrison quote: "The more you know, the less you know". Tho it's possible he did not mean it quite this way.
I will look forward to hearing any results if you do try for a lassi! I've made two small flavor orders since I decided I desperately needed mango, but in neither case ordered any because it wasn't available at the time/place I was ordering... so now I really can't justify getting it for a while. Or can I?! (Poor me and my first world problems, I know. Maybe I should start a gofundme.
