I've sold to a few people on here, off the top of my head Benjammin and debinnv, I'm sure there were others.
I don't have too much stuff right now besides a v3 flip clone, I have about 15 rda's on the way this week tho so I'll post the ones I'm not crazy about.

Just a thought, and for the record I'm not a trader, but it might be easier to build a private group for trading over on Facebook. You could then invite those that wish to join and meet the criteria for the group, without offending anyone here in the forums for not being allowed or invited. It would be easier for you to bring in "trusted" traders, maybe using the feedback here as a verification system. Again, just a thought.

I use facebook and have vouches from here, FB, ecf, and Vape Trader if such a fb group does get started I would like an invite as I do like to buy, sell, and trade.

Ya @dre that works. We post what we have here ( just as far as for trade and what we may be looking for) and those we trust and know and have had good dealings with in the past, we can use the pm to seal the deal so to speak. So it's more of a trade list chit chat thread. I suppose it's no different really than the FS thread we already have going as people do list whether or not they are willing to accept trades. Still, it may be useful to keep this thread to list things we have and to chat with each other about our newest toy.

Not only do you get that thread but you also get a custom title which you can change up, a exclusive chat room for the donors plus special donor deals only, and deals before they are made public.
Im all for the do it on face book amongst yourselves...seems sort of stupid to do a thread to trade with "your buddies only" ...Seems a bit racist in a sense to have something someone else might be interested in but they cant have a chance at it because they arent your buddy...if you dont trust anyone but your buddies then dont post your stuff on here.

Alot have had successful trades...I picture more having a feedback section via a profile instead of a special section for people everyone knows...So how does someone new get started to be trusted?...If you dont trust someone then just dont trade with them..i dont get the whole "Special trade" section...May as well get rid of the regular buy sell and trade or maybe that can be for just the scammers and new people?

And it's a very fine solution too @SMOKIE . Also, it looks as though a few folks are getting their feathers ruffled, so I think it is probably the best solution we have so far. This truly was not supposed to turn into a complicated thing. Just a few folks that have known each other for awhile on the forums getting together and having some trading fun is all. We can simply keep it to pm's for now I guess or at least till we figure out what we want to do and the best way to go about it.

Thats what the feed back section is for in my opinion..if only you could go to a profile and see all feedback from any trades or sales or purchases done by the individual like some places have...I dont care really...its not my ball game...just a few comments by some made it sound like it was for trading with just friends you knew and trusted and gives no chance at something for someone you never traded with before....At least thats how i took it.

Well, in a sense I guess it is like that. But that didn't mean one could not become a new friend and someone to be trusted. You are right though a better feedback system would help. It is a little tough the way it is now but I do not know what can be done on the forum as I am not good with those things.

I have had positive dealings buying from J.B., Emilie, heateris and Nikkita6- and have no idea if I even got any FB in return, and until now it didn't really matter. I mean, I accepted the terms, paid immediately and waited on the USPS.
Is FB listed anywhere yet? I had made a suggestion some time ago about having a "formal" FB system, and got some agreement on the idea but AFAIK nothing actually materialized.
So where does that leave someone like me? Or is this by invite only?

I am not sure yet how this is going to play out. We have had suggestions of FB, Reddit and the Exclusive area of the forum to use for a small donation.
I can do any of the 3. So I guess we need to see how everyone else feels or even see if this is something to continue or not.

I don't feel like it is. Look at the big picture, we are asking for space in which cost money, prob more than what will be donated. I believe the ppl that want in wouldn't mind 10 or 25 for our own section. Nothing's free, there's so much more to this place than most of us are aware. Look at it as insurance for transactions done on here. If someone is ok with the donation then they are here for more than just the forum, it has become a " home " to many of us. I will be grateful to donate 10 to 25 for a section to do deals SAFELY, there is always a risk when trading with someone new an unfamiliar.

The donation section may weed out potential scammers. Scammers will not donate I would say, they are just to greedy. Plus you get Exclusive perks, and support the forum with being in the donors spot on the front page of this forum.
I think the group that @debinnv and/or dre has in mind should have been PM'ed instead of posting to the open forum, 'cause I can see some people deemed to be unworthy being excluded, else why have this 'special' group in the first place.
ETA, if someone new is not to be trusted, then how does their first transaction ever get made? On the other hand, it would seen easy to simply not deal with someone who was suspect in the first place.

I only do VU.....no fb, no redit, no Twitter, no ecf, no nothing beside Google+...
I tend to look at the situation this way, scammers and con artists hate paying for anything, so putting up a section that's limited to those who pony up $15 or so is a great way to keep scammer scum out of the trading section.

We are going to keep it open for a while with seeing how it goes. If down the road no one utilizes the section I created in the Donors section I will close both threads.
