I read somewhere about using a mac with the yihi software i think it was a emulator or something, you could always use a friends computer. good luck,

Noice! That's all I run is ti, hate dealing with nickel. Although I've never tried the annealed nickel,I hear it's a lot better to work with.

I know... I so wish I had known about this before the iPV4. I took my iPV3 to work today with my Arctic Tank, and it's just such a more solid mod. It's tempting to sell the 4 and get an Li. But, then next week the next mod will be out, so, probably pointless. Lol.

I am too, just owning a 3, the build quality is superior. Plus, I still need to tear it open and check/potentially add insulation to the balance board. So far, my batteries are draining even, and opening it intimidates me, so I've left it. I'm still hesitant to leave it alone with batteries in.

Yeah I'm excited to see what the update will be for the ipv4. If it's good I will stay with ipv4. If it's no good I'll still stay with the ipv4 lol

I left my batteries in mine overnight and such and no problems at all.

I hear you, and I think I'm good. I've had it since release, and I'd think by now I'd be having the right battery drain extremely fast and unevenly if my insulator wasn't properly placed. I don't take them out if I'm home and or around it, but I do overnight with all my mods. I just don't like having that slight worry in the back of my mind, but it seems that this issue isn't too widespread. I'm not seeing threads about it, though I don't check reddit.

I did the upgrate (upgrade lol). I'm getting 200w and can adjust to 100j but can't figure out a way to save the joule adjustment into one of the memories.

If the black is anything like the other P4Y black mods it will show scratches easily I got me a silver one and will just get a black or silver J-wraps carbon fiber wrap for it.
