This was a fun little build.

Or how about a Clapton stovetop?

The top one is essentially dual infinity coils, 24 gauge, 6 wraps per "cylinder" (looks like a 4 cylinder engine to me :p). Ohmed at .31, beastly output.
The bottom one was a 28/32 Clapton... Don't remember what it ohmed at, but flavor was better then standard stovetop, but not quite as much cloud...i think it was in the .7 range

My cloud build.... Dual stovetop, 24 gauge... Usually build them between .3-.5 ohms.... These can handle some high wattage in an atty with good airflow.

How does it vape? Flavor? Cloud?

Cut a square pad of cotton, cut a small slit to go over the positive leg, stuff down between coil and posts... Easiest build to wick ever :p

The stovetop?
Flavor is on par with a standard macro coil.... Not as great as a build like a Clapton....but cloud production is off the hook....

(Shitty camera is broken from water damage and won't focus)

Everyone's using these fancy builds...
I'm just rocking a five wrap dual coil with 20g wire. 2mm inner diameter. Comes out to ~0.1oHm. I was doing a six wrap at 1mm for ~0.08oHm but I wanted to try 2mm. Loving it. :)

Made my first chimney build tonight, I used duals in my Lemo V2 for the fun of it. Wicked it in quite a funky way too, but its wicking well and tastes great. I will add pics tommorow, as I filled it up with a tank of juice, once thats gone I can take them. Probably the best build I have made so far.

Looks nice! But what's the ramp up look like? Cloud? Flavor?

Ramp up is pretty much instant because of the ribbon and 24g. Clouds are massive, even for being only a single coil, and flavour is on point as expected for this type of build.

I honestly thought I would have had more trouble with it. Before this last order the smallest wire I had used was 32g, but the 36 and 40 I find almost easier because it's so easy to manipulate compared to thicker stuff. You have to worry about placement more, but the tension required is much less. Plus after using 40g to fuse clapton (see earlier post of the build in my DotMod clone) 36 almost felt big haha. Now the 50g and 55g that some of the builders out there are using is some seriously small wire.

I've put a 0.5 Ohm dual coil chimney build in my Lemo V2. 26 gauge 1 ohm coils each side. Tastes great around 30-35 watts, and is a warmer vape than before. I like this warmth, I realise now the vape from my old 30 was cold. Tasted good, but was usually cold. My 30 is now relegated to the missus, her birthday is on Sunday, so might as well give it to her as she was constantly using mine lol, I want her to have one of her own to use.

Well, here is the actual build, sorry this is after a day of use I forgot to take them as soon as I made them, although I have gave them a quick clean/dry burn:
IGJNJm1l.jpg

I had to wick it funky, I cant say I came up with this myself, I found it online:
E8an0fwl.jpg

Also, just an image showing it is 0.5, ignore the 24 watts I must of pressed down before I took the picture accidentally :

A shout out and kudos to scarecrow Jenkins on this beautiful build. My first fancy coil other than a Clapton. Alien wire-28 ga. nichrome 80 core, 36 ga. nichrome wrap. oh 7 wraps @ .12 ohms.Best flavor I've had, hits beautifully in the petri with triton glass cap. I feel fancy with this one.
Glad you like em!! I'm jealous that you have em on a VW box, i'd like to explore them at wattages i don't get off a mech! :D pleasure was all mine!

Here we go - first Clapton that matters (subox RBA one doesn't count cuz it wasn't good)

7163fb81ac4dc1e19d86501547b062ed.jpg

Not exactly perfection but a decent first attempt imo.
Flavor and vapor production are like nothing I've ever experienced before.
26g wrapped around 3x26g using the lil blue screwdriver reading at .3Ω vapin around 40ish watts

Edit: Prollie worth mentioning the fact that I literally had to force the wires through the holes - they fit, just took a lot of work. Next time I'm going to wrap a 26g around two 26g's instead of three

Try wrapping with 28 gauge.... The smaller the outer wire the better with Claptons, more little pockets to trap juice

I made my first clapton dual coil, 0.4 Ohm(0.8 each).

26gauge Kanthal in the middle wrapped in 30 gauge, then 5 turns around a 3 MM screwdriver.

I didn't expect much, but my god was I wrong. At 70+ watts, 80 seems the nicest, so 40 a coil, it produces stupendous amounts of vapour, and FLAVOUR is everywhere! I love these coils, these will be staying in my RDA for the forseeable future, they are not the neatest as they are my first attempt, but work and taste fine.

My 2nd attempt at the 6 wrap 26g Ka1 parallel build around 3mm. Came out much cleaner this time and is sitting at a perfect .4 ohms.

How did you wick that? I did something similar a few posts or pages ago, and wicked it lengthways in a funky way. It tastes great though, and thats on my Lemo V2.

With much fear and trepidation... but I stuffed a bit of the backing on the cotton behind, and then wrapped a strip of soft cotton around the whole atty. Holds enough liquid to avoid a dry hit at 100W, but its really hot that high. 50-60 is the sweet spot for me. not too hot, and can take a long-ish toot without being dry/burnt.

I did straighten out the cotton a bit after applying more liquid... but it was my second build on this, and my first verticoil ever... It will look better next time.wicking of zephyurs.jpg

Again, not pretty but it works! Parallel 28 AWG Kanthal A1 ... 0.6. Am I right in thinking if I made this a dual with another parallel 28 it would fire at 0.3????

I just did something similar:
da402b495b12ddd59e8c532ca175a314.jpg

26g 8 wraps on both using a 1/8th inch rod reading at .4Ω

Had to edit the image as the glare was far to bright
Also, I'm currently at 40w with anywhere from 70 to 90 vg
