FUNFETTI Recipe and my new DIY website

Watch the video for this recipe here

So I teased this recipe some time ago. I was waiting on a steep that I was *sure* was going to work. But it didn't, and I had to go back to the drawing board. After around 20 different batches, I finally feel like I'm as close as I can get to it.

You can check out the full recipe and ALL of the flavor notes on my brand spankin' new website DIYorDIEvaping.com

Here you'll be able to access all my recipes, flavor notes, tips and techniques on mixing, blog rants, and whatever else I feel like putting out. Remember that DIY Live mixing thing I was talking about before? Well you'll be able to chat with me and other guests about mixing and DIY vaping in general. That will take place here too. This is all on top of a shop that's coming soon where you can buy shit to help support me and my channel. You might also notice the InTheMix magazine and podcast where I'm setting up a subscription based newsletter that curated by me and a few other top mixers. More info about that will come later.

For those that are just here for the recipe well here you go.

Funfetti

CAP | Sugar Cookie | 6%
CAP | Vanilla Custard | 2%
FA | Marshmallow | 2%
FA | Joy | 0.75%
TFA | Vanilla Bean Ice Cream | 3%
TFA | Cheesecake (Graham) | 3%

BASE | 70VG | 30PG
STEEP TIME | MEDUIM | 4-5 Days
PREFERRED TEMP | LOW HEAT | 430F

So like I said before, this was a tough one to crack for me. Which it shouldn't have been. But I think I came pretty damn close to it and it's actually a really fucking delicious vape. If you want to read all the flavor notes on this recipe and how I came up with this stuff you can find them at my site. Also I would love for someone to come along and tweak this to make it much better. I know there's potential for this and I'm sure someone along the way will try something out and we can all make this thing hit 100%.

Thanks for sharing. I'm sure this is going to be excellent as are your other mixes. Just got home from work, but can't wait to watch the video. I love the way you present your creations. The format of your web site is very nice!

Looks like a lot of my favorite flavors in this one, and not missing any either.
Just got the v1 Sugar Cookie as I've been using the v2 and wanted to try out the v1.
Gonna mix it up tonight, thanks for posting.

Looks really good! I have a question regarding TFA VBIC. I get a peppery taste from it... is it right or should I buy another bottle?

that doesnt sound right to me, what percentage are you using it at?

That does seem higher than most percentages I see for VBIC, but 'peppery' doesnt sound right. Why dont you start a thread and get some more help?
Id be happy to pitch in, but I dont want to jack this thread either.

@wayne.walkerr I wanted to thank you for giving out great recipes, doin the vids, and starting this website (which awesome btw). DIY has been such a fringe element of vaping for so long, its nice to see people take it to a higher level of exposure. I speak for many when I say, I greatly appreciate it.

@Pauly Walnuts Thanks for the support man. I'm trying to get the DIY vaping mentality out in the mainstream so users who aren't that well off can stay off cigarettes. Vaping can be very expensive if you don't know where to look, and even then some of these "budget" juices are terrible. No one should be buying their ADV from a vendor, and if I can get everyone who vapes a recipe they can mix up as their ADV then I have done my job. I appreciate the motivation!

@Maxime TFA VBIC has been said to give that peppery flavor in the Mustard Milk recipe, probably due to the high concentration of it and because it's in conjuction with Strawberry. At 3% you won't get much of that element, but if you do, I would sub in CAP Vanilla Bean Ice cream at 3% or FA Vienna Cream at 1.5%

I use VBIC ar 10% and no peppery Taste.
It does have an off taste to me used by itself, but not what I consider "peppery"
I didn't like it at first, now I love it. Acquired taste?
I mix 10% VBIC with 3% ripe strawberry and 2% CAP Sweet strawberry. It's awesome! How old is your bottle?

If you haven't tried Wayne's SVBICC Remix, that one is excellent also. It's a strawberry cheesecake and it doesn't even use any of the cheesecake flavorings. After a 5 day steep it's awesome.

I tried the original one. There was an option on the back end to either use EM or AP, to accentuate either the bready notes or fruity notes. I chose AP and think I chose wrong.
Anyways, the remix looks really good and like something ill try soon.

Thanks for the tips, I do have vienna cream on hand so I will check that. Thanks for posting on this board, I have been following you on reddit but it can get pretty messy over there some times. I really enjoy the way you explain things :)

Thanks for all the support @Maxime and I'm glad you like some of my recipes @Pauly Walnuts. I got so much more stuff coming in terms of the DIY community, InTheMix is something I'm really excited about. As well as some really kick ass recipes, interviews with industry professionals and top mixers and videos. So if you like my content, stay tuned! I need to be more active over here, I forgot how great this forum is.

@wayne.walkerr I had accidentally read your name on reddit (which I fail at miserably) in the context of motherfuckers hating you enough to have a convention about it. I didn't understand why and chalked it up to reddit humor that I didn't have the brainpower to comprehend. That was within the past 36 hours.

Then I see this thread. Checked out your site for a few minutes. I'm ready to have your babies.

Thanks for sharing. Mean it.

This is what I read that made me wanna snuggle with Wayne.
I've been working on a new mix for a week or so and it had started to not have any discernible flavor (must be that FA Black Cherry muting everything else). I vaped some other mixes with different profiles for a few hours and when I came back to said mix I was amazed at how many flavors were there and how good the mix had been all along. Just when I thought I had learned something about mixing....

PS - Fuck you. I've been trying to make room and have less flavors on hand. I can already tell you're going to fuck that all up.

@paulywalnuts - Interesting peoples tastes, personally I was a bit "meh" with the boardwalk recipe. Have you tried the Rhodonite one though Pauly, thats one of my favourites

I made it, but had to use tfa sweet raspberry. its good, but i believe im missing something, namely the inw raspberry.

@Pauly Walnuts you need to really use INW Raspberry Koncentrat to get the full effect of the juice. I've tried it with TFA Ras and it's not nearly as good, plus you don't really get that powdered sugar effect. INW Raz is imo the best ras flavor out period.

Could use a good site to order Inawera. ECX has sold most of theirs and Vaperstek is limited on anything I'm looking for, i.e., raspberry, meringue, biscuit (still out of stock), and ordering direct costs a mint.

Raspberries are on strike right now. Even Bull City, my new go to, has them OOS for the moment. It is a good raspberry.
When it comes to new mixes with that flavor I just happen not to have, I'll wait till I have 3 or 4 different mixes in the que before I buy that flavor.
I'm through playing the gottta have this flavor for this and that for that game. It's OLD now..and a marketing scheme played by some here.

I could tell there was something that was intended, that is not there. It is good though.

Teresa & KGuardian - are you sure you're not using the same recipe? It looks like the same one on both sites to me.
