Figure we should start a thread sharing our builds. I always like seeing new builds and getting inspiration for new ideas.

-post a photo of the build
-what wire is used
-what size are the wraps
-final ohm readings

My all day everyday setup. Dual 24g 5/6 wrap around a 3mm screwdriver metering at 0.27 ohm

22 ga stainless
I wanna say 6 wraps ? Sorry it's late so my memory fades a bit
And she weighs in at about .17 ohm
Tc mode o the RX 200 is heavenly

Haha in a way yes
Its actually tobecos new RDA called the ERE everyone has been saying it basically is a perfect blend of the ones you mentioned. And I am diggin it man... If u want clouds thick enough to allow you to leave a room making everyone think you disappeared on some cris angel shit ... This is what you wanna get. Great price too
It has great flavor too esp. If you make some minor airflow adjustments but I believe this tank really shines on cloud production.. Shines on cloud production.. Isn't that a paradox? Lol anyway yea man I'm enjoying it muy mucho
And thanks for the build compliment man haven't been building very long but I build a lot in hopes of one day perfecting the art

I noticed on your pics that you have the coils away from the airflow...Is there a reason you did that? Usually you want the coils resting a few millimeters above then air chutes on those RDA's for better flavors/vapor production. You coils look clean and tight but I recommend that you push r rearrange them over those air inlets for a even better experience.
Similar to this:

That's where I'm having trouble they jus don't line up that way unless I pullthem into place which I usually end up smashing the coils or breaking the legs when I do that ... Any tips or tricks ?

When you wrap you coils and get ready to install them leave a inch for both negative and positive lead on them. Get them over the air inlets and the tighten down the screws then get them as close to perfect as you can, this is the easiest way of doing it. When you install them and need to push them around have them on what you wrapped them on and then use tweezers or pliers to hold the coil tight while you move it around, this will insure the coil doesnt warp and gives the bends you need to get them in tight if needed.

If you going for a straight low wattage flavor build then that cotton setup is fine, your reducing the chamber and it will be warmer. I used the Scottish Roll Wicking Method. I roll the cotton then thread it through then use tweezers to see when the cotton would only touch the deck and cut it right there, so only the end tips touch the deck. I dont suggest placing them under the coil at all as you want as much air running around the coil as possible(I dont think you can put it under in your RDA anyways). I also will Fluff the tips as much as possible with a Exact-o Knife or my Tweezers before use, this makes sure the cotton isnt bunch up and makes it free flowing to the coil.
Heres a pic to show my wicking style:

Im heading back to bed though, I just got up to track some goodies and saw your post and figured I would comment, good to see some new people trying to build..good luck!

First build on the Tobeco Marquis clone I picked up, yesterday.
PC240001.JPG

Single-coil. Eight wraps of 26 ga. Kanthal. Came out to a bit over 1Ω.

PC240003.JPG

Juiced it with the 120 ml bottle of Black River CheRazz the store gave me, yesterday.

PC240004.JPG

That's how I ended-up with the RDA. I'd gone there to pick up some blueberry flavouring. They were having a BOGO sale on e-juice and a 25% off sale on RDAs. Well, I was set for e-juice and didn't "need" another RDA. When I told the guy behind the counter "Wish I'd known about the BOGO. I just bought 30 ml. of your PB Parfait at another store," he turned around, looked behind him, asked "zero nic?" "Yep," I replied. "Here," and plopped that bottle down in front of me. Well, after that I could hardly walk out without buying another RDA, could I? :D

After hitting on this coil for a little bit, it rocks. Flavor like no tomorrow, and very nice. Im slowly working up the wattage and it just takes it like a champ. Sitting at 190w and about to bump to full power. Clouds like fucking crazy.

Yet another mediocre attempt at a staggered. So I figured I would space it a bit and put a vertical in the Velocity. Besides, I needed something that doesn't take high wattage or amperage for a change, and that has a quick ramp up time.

Came out to .55 ohms, and i am seriously impressed by the flavor. I haven't vaped mouth-to-lung in ages, it was actually quite nice

Deck is hugh, think the post holes are 3×4mm. First coils I had in it was 24/30 Cats, two of them, with room left over.

Fuck that. It singed way too easily. Made a couple of 6x0.5K/34N staple coils. Came in at 0.23Ω. Much better. I'll take a bit slower ramp up for 500% better flavor. I'm actually diggin' the flavor of a staple over a fused Clapton.

I haven't tried it but couldn't you wrap two wires in parallel and then separate the two to get two identical evenly spaced coils?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I believe so but ti is sooooo soft and easy to work with i free handed it. When I tried nickel I had to use a screw to get even wraps. And even then that stuff is springy as hell. But the ti from lightning vapes is super easy to work with.
ETA:it's 24 ga from them
