Im the person that buys it all then calls out people that glorify bullshit products...This is why I do the comparisons...so others know the facts and buy the good stuff...
I for one appreciate the few good people out there that do that. Like you said there are people out there that glorify the bullshit products for what gain I have no idea.
Keep up the good work raymo2u even when I get in trouble with the wife for buying one of your recommendation.

Yea thats still 2 weeks away from being shipped out since they are making some changes, I am pretty excited to get it myself. Its like the Griffin or the Diablo with Double Vision Posts but with a See Through Chamber for Coilporn...sounds like a winner in my book already, I just hope it performs as well as it sounds.

I wish I could get sent shit to try and compare/review from vendors like the youtube reviewers do..That would help me out alot but Ill do it either way.
I feel like you are going to get me in trouble again with the wife if it is good. Lol

Polished Dual~core Aliens in the ol' Twisted Messes RDA.
Specs:
~28K//36N80
~3mm inner diameter
~7 wraps .35Ω
Probably the nicest series build for me to date, and certainly the best series build so far in the TM atty. Something about the polishing just works wonders on this build. Dual~core Aliens are my go~to build lately for series builds, and polishing them does something to the surface area that warms it up a bit and enhances the flavor as well. Definitely worth the extra bit of work.

First build in my new Griffin
2x26k/40n 26k staging. I need to play with it a little, I'm getting dry hits but it's awesome to build on

I would drop a wrap for the Griffin. Makes the wick take a less severely angled bend. You might be choking off the juice flow.

Cut your cotton at the Ring so it barely stays in the Ring if pushed into it, you only want the cotton to be cupped by the juice port and make sure its fluffy and not bunched up or pressured in....should be lightly guided into the port and you will never get a dryhit. If your worried about leaking then leave a millimeter more on the tips to make sure the entire juice port is covered.
Should look alot like this:

Cut tips like this, if you want you can cut them into a "V" shape to make it easier to guide them in to the ports.
Wicking tut 2.jpg

Lightly tuck the tips in, do not bunch them or pressure them in, make sure its still fluffy. If you think it may be bunch lightly pull up on the tips so they come up a tiny amount and loosen.

Should look like this after..

I'll try that when I rebuild, I had to do 6 wraps because 5 was below my .1 ohm limit. I might wrap some smaller fused claptons up and try them.

Remove the Staging wire, its not really needed here...you will only be getting the staging wires vapor and by the time the other wire gets hot you wont be vaping it...Unless you are drawing constantly...

It's all I had on me so I stuffed it in lol. I'll be wrapping some stuff up tonight and might throw some aliens in there. Thanks for the wicking tips too. Really helpful.

I like 2 x 24g/40g myself but the aliens are nice to show off so they are staying...
The Staples are very nice in the Griffin and the Diablo...

Twisted Wire
3 Winds
inTaste 0,40mm Titanium
0.13 Ohm
Wismec RX200
26G (Probably.. just used the cute screw driver that came with the Subtank Mini)

Not sure if pictures will show up. This is my second build. Didn't mean to build as low as it turned out but i had no more space/skill to stuff more winds into that Subtank Mini RBA. Seems to be handling the temperature better than my first non-twisted build though. (Or maybe the mod is misreading?) Twisted the wire using a pen clip.. hence the crap quality? Unwinded a bit during mounting process.

Im just a fan...Ive bought and spent more money then I care to say but this is one of the only things Ive bought that I can say lacks flaws, it makes the day and vaping a breeze and you can actually build like a RDA on it...and wicking keeps up. Try that with any other tank...
I love dripping but its a pain in the ass when doing something else, like carry groceries and working on stuff...This is where the Griffin makes my life easier..
I find it to be the best spent $40 Ive thrown at vaping...and I stress how great it is so others will try it. I see so many members pitching shitty RTA's at people who want the Griffin experience and they buy that shitty RTA and then cant afford something better....I will preach the shit out of this RTA so everyone knows its great....look at some people on this thread still dont know if the Griffin is it or not...WTF do you not see my hands waving and shit ??? Buy the damn thing!!
Some people actually thought I worked for Geekvape because of how I've advertised it lol
I've been wanting a good tank but stopped wasting money on them cause they would never perform how I wanted. I've heard good things about the Griffin and I think you just convinced me. It would be so nice to find a decent tank to make driving easier. I just want to say that I've read a lot of the posts both you and @CrazyChef have put up and just want to thank you guys for all of the good info and inspiration. I would be happier than a pig in shit if I ever get even close to the coil building skill you two possess!

Nope I havent tried it yet...Was also looking at Climax and others but Cotton Bacon V2 I find to be amazing. Its burn resistant, if you do burn it you cant really taste it, it wicks WONDERFULLY and there isnt the slightest break in-just straight taste of your juice the first draw....Just wish it was cheaper....I go through almost 2 packs a week.

People think I'm crazy when I tell them I've never gotten a full dry hit, but I can vape this stuff dry and it doesn't burn on me, I just get a little funky taste and know I have to redrip.

It's not hard to do - it just takes practice.
I'm doing a lot of that for sure. I have 7 RDA's right now and I'm changing coils at least once a week just for practice. I'm having issues trying to get a clapton to wrap properly for me but i'm getting closer. I'm mostly doing normal wraps, twisted, parallels, and tidals right now. Basically still getting down proper coil placement without totally fucking up the coils and getting them to fire evenly.

Ever try Native Wicks ? I love this stuff... Also VERY burn resistant. Holds a shit ton of juice and comes in a nice 3 ft roll and its super super clean. I use it in most of my RDAs (going to test it in my Diablo next rewick) If you looking for QUALITY cotton for your dripper, I'd give this a shot. I think it's like $7 a puck (3ft or so)..

If you can see the seam in the cotton, that's where you split it for dual wick. Snip about an inch and then rip down the middle and you got your self a perfect wick.

What diameter build is this perfect for.. I was going to pick up some native wicks at the recommendation of a friend, but for some reason I didn't (can't remember why) Anyway if it works well with 3.0 mm diameter builds I'm definitely getting some.

If you leave them fluffy it looks like it will do 3mm no problem, looks like it could do 4mm easy...

Looking at my tax returns that I just filed.. I may have some money left over after I purchase an xbox One (been waiting for taxes to buy it cause I won't have the time to play it until April anyways) and I also have some money set aside after this paycheck...

Thinking about what I should spend on vape... What it is I actually need / versus just want...

I've got a regulated device - IPV 3 Li
Series box - NC
Several RDAs, though I use one maybe two.. - Velocity, Mutation 3 and XS mini, Doge X2, Mad Hatter mini that no longer use due to center post issues, I think I have one more.. IDK.

I don't have:
A trusty ol' mech box, I think I'd like a parallel box mod to fire those aliens under .1
I don't have a DotMod Petri... And with the new V2 out I keep saying I should buy one... But they are so damn pricey. If I buy one of those it would be all the money I wish to spend on vape....

Thought about splurging on some fancy juice but I can't bring myself to spend $40 or more on a single 120ml...

Can't decide what should be #1 on the priority list. I don't own a hundred devices like some (Ray... though he might have 1,000) but I don't need a hundred... I've gotten by just fine thus far.
I'd like a new RDA, with enough space to build for the pesky NC.

Someone wanna help me out, tell me what they'd be looking for?

If I said I had $40-60 to spend tonight....

I contacted VVV prior to purchasing another order, they only allowed me to try the key lime pie. Oh well, they arrived today and I got Strawberry lemonade, raspberry custard, key lime, and fuzzy tata's -- all I have not tried before.

Ahh well, next order I'll try the new ones.

I don't even know why I want to spend more on vape gear... It's like I'm more addicted to buying new stuff and building wire than nicotine at this point. LOL.

So I just got done wicking it and I had to take off a bit for the 2.5 . 3mm is perfect for this cotton.

On there website they say it's supposed to fit tighter in the coil then reg/jap cotton, so I would say 3-3.25mm tops

I wish you guys would try it. The quality is amazing. It's like silk cotton strands. It's not fluffy like Japanese cotton, it's perfectly brushed silky cotton. Another plus is that however it looks before juicing is exactly how it stays. It doesn't expand like regular cotton. It's just really high end stuff.

What about them, chef?
The H.O.G. uses four 18650s, and is basically a parallel/series mech combo. LOTS of low ohm possibilities. The DNA200 devices will all give you true 200 watts of power, unlike others that max out at 150 and pulse up to 200 watts.

I'd have to look at the HOG... My IPV handles just fine, I hardly ever use over 115 watts. If I want hotter I use the NC or I could use a Mech mod if I had one.
