Im kinda exaggerating when I say she would throw it out.....but she would threaten it.....LOL
But I love her, and she loves me (I think)....so I put up with it.
And I kinda like being organized anyways. And it makes it easy to find what I want quickly....AND....As my dad always said.....clutter causes chaos.
Oh, I would love being organized. but I'm almost 55, and I've been this way my whole life -- it's safe to say, that ship has sailed, a VERY long time ago. My kitchen cabinets and drawers are pretty well organized, because I love to cook, and you have to be able to lay hands on what you need, when you need it. And back when hard drives were measured in megabytes instead of gigabytes, I was really REALLY OCD about directory structure and where I saved things.... but when they moved into 20, 40, 100, 500 GB... *sigh* I try to keep similar things together, but that's about the best I can do anymore. I have 3 or 4 or 10 different pics directories, from assorted HD and PC upgrades.... It's a mess. I'm very fortunate to be married to a supremely organized guy, who helps me a great deal -- he puts away the clean dishes from the DW, since I cook and wash dishes; he deals with all laundry folding, leaving me just the hanging clothes to deal with, since I'm *usually* (95% of the time) the one who does the laundry. My first husband was nearly as disorganized as I am, so he couldn't help me at all, he just blamed me for the whole problem, when half of it was his.
But you guys have inspired me, particularly since I'm about to do some mixing -- a lot of the mess was from the mixing I did yesterday, so I got a lot of that tidied up, and got it ready for what I'm going to be mixing today:
Still a half-disaster, but clear enough so I can mix and have a decent work area.
