Glad I didn't see this one while my wife was looking at my laptop. Winter is when she starts wanting a husky puppy since ours passed about 2 years ago from old age related problems.

The next 7 shots are ones I took about a mile from our new house on Friday.
This first one we are coming up to a ski resort called White face mountain, it is the tallest of mountains in our area and was home to some events in the olmypic's back in the 80's

They were sking up a storm when we went by. Note the heavy low clouds at top of picture from snow making machines. Although I don't know why they needed more snow as we got over 10 inches.
Some of the black diamond trails on this mountain are the most treacherous in the world and experts only are allowed down them
