It might just be the angle of the pic, but maybe too much cotton blocking the air flow. In squonks I want the wicks to be just touching the bottom of the well. Not getting much flavor at all from this build. Idk if it's the type of coil or what is happening? It's on a pico's squeeze. Tricore fused clapton ohming at .42. Is that too high for the pico? Even if I use it on the pulse 80w it's not getting much flavor...View attachment 147739
I don't know that RDA, but it sure looks that way to me, too. Looks, to my inexpert and completely inexperienced (with that RDA) eye like it'd need a smaller diameter coil and a lot less cotton. It might just be the angle of the pic, but maybe too much cotton blocking the air flow.
25R works fine for the Wasp/Squeeze combo just have to use a lower mass coil. The only 18650 batteries I have are Samsung 25r's. Need to find some vtc5s
My build is quad core 30g fused Clapton with 40g on the outsideWhat is that? Dual core fused clapton?

It's a different rda but same concept
Mount your coil like that, and use a 26g parallel coil around 3 mm internal diameter.
You'll have flavor for days.
I highly recommend the Samsung 20S. It hits harder than the VTC5A, and have more amps too. According to mooch it is the hardest hitting 18650 thus far. You can get them for $5 each at 18650batterystore. I use them in all my 18650 mechs. Great batteries. The only 18650 batteries I have are Samsung 25r's. Need to find some vtc5s
I would comment on the wasp and a build, but it looks like everything I would have said has already been said.
Not taking it hard at all. Just glad that the OP was given solid info by multiple sources that all point him in a good direction. I just felt repeating it wouldn't be too helpful, especially since I was so late to the party. Mostly commented just to recommend a good battery.Don't know if you are taking it hard, or not. Will say I wouldn't take it too hard. We aging dogs might be a little slower to get there, but we still get there. Something said for that, I suppose. Cannot think right now though what is said. A bit distracted, life does that.
