Looking for a light, bright Vanilla Flavoring?

I'm trying to find a very "white," bright vanilla to use in one of my recipes. I've ordered a bunch of Vanilla flavors, but most of them are too deep and burbon-eqsue.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find this flavor?

Here's what I've tried:

Classic Vanilla FA / not bright enough, a little too.. "golden?"
Vanilla Cream (Delosi) / too deep
Simply Vanilla CAP / overall awful
Holy Vanilla by DIY Flavor Shack / Haven't mixed yet, but it smells a little too deep

Hmm I do have I have TFA's 10% Vanillin unopened.. I'll give it a whirl. Any pairing with Vanillin to make it brighten more, e.g. marshmallow?

Vanilla Swirl by tfa or cap vanilla custard might be characterized as bright vanilla. They both kind of remind me of the vanilla scent in that 1980\s perfume, "Luv's Baby Soft". It's like a box vanilla pudding sort of thing.

INW Shisha Vanilla is a very light vanilla that is slightly creamy and sweet.

I'd agree with @lirruping on the Vanilla Swirl and/or Custard idea.
But you might consider using some Milk/Cream instead of Vanilla, just a thought...

I found good results combining vanillian with marshmallow. Vanillian was better than the other vanillas, but I still feel that it's has somewhat of a golden taste. What about TFA's Vanilla bean ice cream or cupcake?

Gah I call that scent essence of stripper.
I think the taste to vape conversion of the bright vanilla is going to be tough to actually get since the compounds of of the flavor are not all that vape safe.

That's funny, we always called it "l'eau de de teenage stripper wannabee". maybe because of the advertising:

Or was it the packaging?

I'm gonna get an order of this on Bull City. Any other suggestions?

Has anyone tried the Vanilla extract from Hangsen?

HS Vanilla is decent and HS Cream is good too.
Also like INW Vanilla Bourbon.
DIYFS Holy Vanilla & French Vanilla are my favs. now, but In wouldn't describe them as light.

hey, what is it about this Holy Vanilla that people love so much? How would you describe it? Does it have a creamy aspect like, say Vanilla Swirl, or is it a straight flavoring-flavoring like fa Vanilla Classic?

Hard to describe but I think it has some Creams in it too.
Different than Vanilla Swirl I think.

It always comes down to this: just gotta get me some :)

I was in the same position and read everyone's raaaave reviews about holy vanilla. Personally, and all of this is wildly subjective, it wasn't for me. It wasn't bright. I have it next to me right now, and I would describe it as a

Very sweet full vanilla
Somewhat dark, but not quite bourbon dark
There are hints of caramel, almond, cream

I also picked up TFA Vanilla Swirl, and I think this is what I was looking for. I haven't mixed it yet, just going off smell. Vanillian is good, but it's way too light. May mix the two.

Not sure if I could call them brighter but...
I actually like their French Vanilla better than Holy Vanilla.
And TFA French Vanilla Deluxe is better than TFA French Vanilla IMO.
FW Madagascar Vanilla is also decent.
TFA Vanilla Swirl is great too, I think it's a mixture of Vanilla & Cream.
I normally use 3% TFA Vanilla Swirl + 1% TFA Sweet Cream as they seem to be a good combo for me, mixed with other things of course.

My 2 Favourite Vanilla flavours are

Inawera Vanilla Bourbon
Medicine Flower Vanilla ( Needs at least 4 weeks in a mix for the flavour to truly develop and come to its full potential in a mix or standalone)

I would describe them both as realistic, fresh and clean tasting vanilla flavours

I have seen this previously but now it's on my list.

Interesting as you generally seem to prefer V1 of flavoring versions and the 'Deluxe' is TFA-speak for V2 (the 'cleaned up' version).

FW Madagascar Vanilla is also decent.

This would be the Vanilla Bourbon (sometimes referred to as Bourbon Vanilla), a geographical reference and without the taste of liquor (not that there's anything wrong with that). :D

TFA Vanilla Swirl is great too, I think it's a mixture of Vanilla & Cream.

Since Vanilla Swirl is supposed to be Vanilla Custard V2, have you compared the two? ('Cause if anyone has, I reckon it's you.)

Thanks, as always for your comments and input.

Far as I know TFA doesn't make a Vanilla Custard v2, if they do I haven't tried it.
But they used to have a plain Custard that was nasty.
But it was supposedly made to replace another flavor that had the baddies.
(Just can't remember which one atm).
But it doesn't really remind me of "custard" anyway.

Was more of a reference to the FW brand being a decent Vanilla also.
I've liked all the Vanilla Bourbons tried so far.

Kind-of a surprise to me also as I thought it had more baddies than the regular French Vanilla.
At least if it is, it's one of the only V2's of anything I like.

I have seen this previously but now it's on my list.

Others commented about this one also, maybe @Teresa P ?
As a note: The French Vanilla is clear in color, while the Holy Vanilla is golden colored.
And the French Vanilla was good even as a stand alone at 5%, which is rare for me with any Vanilla's.
Holy Vanilla wasn't that good stand alone but may be better in some mixes IDK.
Been grabbing the French Vanilla mostly and leaving the other one behind:(.
So I've not experimented much with the Holy Vanilla yet.

+1

There's something about the Holy Vanilla that I like, but also something about it that I don't if that makes any sense. Maybe I haven't played with it enough, but the 4 or 5 times I've used it, I felt that way.

DIYFS French Vanilla is the best one out there. Their holy vanilla is a bit darker and I really prefer it in mixes as an enhancer, not as a main flavor. It's good to bump up custards and creams, but seems a little "thin" to me on its own. And I understand it's loaded with "baddies." Personally that doesn't bother me, but it is a concern for some.

INW Shisha Vanilla! It's my current addiction. That is exactly how I describe it. It's a bright clean vanilla, no heaviness. It is creamy as well, not like a custard creamy...hard to describe. I would call it light and bright, but concentrated. 1-2% gives an obvious vanilla flavor, but does it without imparting richness.
