whats the difference betwen 0.5 and 0.3 coil in ijust 2? i used to use a coil of 0.3 and my liquid ran out so fk fast.
thanksThe lower the ohm coil, the hotter the vape. The hotter the vape, the more juice you burn up.
I've been wondering the exact same thing. I use and ego one mini. The guy at the shop recommended I use 1.0 coils with it. Is that the general consensus in this group as well? Would a different coil give more flavor?whats the difference betwen 0.5 and 0.3 coil in ijust 2? i used to use a coil of 0.3 and my liquid ran out so fk fast.
I'm an idiot and continue to need help wrapping my head around this. I don't get what sub ohm is. Under 1? What would 1 step up be? Countrypami, what do you use? Sorry and thanks for your patience with me!Me personally, I am NOT an advocate for sub ohm vaping. I do sub ohm, but I prefer my coils above 1 ohm. The lower the ohms the more Vapor you will produce and the faster you will go through juice. I have not noticed a significant difference in the flavor between sub ohm and regular ohms.

No Worries.. it's what we are here for!!I'm an idiot and continue to need help wrapping my head around this. I don't get what sub ohm is. Under 1? What would 1 step up be? Countrypami, what do you use? Sorry and thanks for your patience with me!
The juice I'm using right now is 85/15 vg/pg and I use an ego one mini. Do you, by chance, have an one of them in your HUGE collection? If so, what do you use?No Worries.. it's what we are here for!!
Sub ohm = any coil less than 1.0 ohm
Usually the next step up from 1.0 is 1.2 or 1.5 ohms
In my normal tanks like the Nautilus I use the 1.8 ohm coils, Aspire BDC I use the 2.1 ohm coils
In my "sub" tanks, these are your tanks designed for sub ohms, I typically use the .5 ohm
Just remember that with the Sub ohm coils, you're gonna need juice that's on the higher VG side. I'd say 40pg/60vg at the minimum so that you are not "burning" your juice.
Also, you need to know that you cannot just sub ohm on any device/battery. The device/battery you select MUST BE capable of sub ohms. (Check manufacturer specs for more info)
Sorry, Rafael, I sort of took over your thread! I'm so glad you asked that question!whats the difference betwen 0.5 and 0.3 coil in ijust 2? i used to use a coil of 0.3 and my liquid ran out so fk fast.
Your questions aren't stupid! Only NOT asking questions is stupid.
As for your question, a lot of flavor has to do with surface area of a coil. So, if you have a lot of surface area, you are going to get more flavor. With surface area ALSO comes better cloud production. That's why Clapton and Fused Clapton coils (for dripper set ups) are really nice (as well for a myriad of other reasons, but we won't get into super specifics at this point).
I don't have the ego one mini, but after doing a quick search, it appears your juice choice is fine. VG is naturally sweeter, being a vegetable extract, so you will likely feel you are getting more flavor, when in reality you're just tasting the sweetness of the juice.
Lastly, the vapor production for your device will be minimal, but not entirely insignificant. Clouding things up is based on quite a few factors;
- Air flow of the device (is it variable? static?)
- Surface area of the coils (in a pre-made coils, do the coils allow the juice major access to the cotton?)
- Ohm (The lower you go, the hotter things are going to get, the more vape you get)
- Wattage (The higher the watts, the quicker it heats, the more vapor you'll achieve and quicker)
There are other variables, but those are the primary ones. Hopefully this wasn't information overload! Good luck

Thanks! I will keep trying to help as I can. Always nice to know you can contribute, you know?
I know exactly what you mean.
I usually try to keep my eye on vaping related news & media to post so members know what's happening to their way of staying off cigarettes.

If you notice the amount of stories I have posted that even though I purposely post more "good" articles than "bad" people like reading the bad ones way more.
This may be one of the reasons journalists go for the worst part of everything.
Kind of like driving by a bad car wreck and you just have to look even though it's horrible to look at.
I think the air flow is variable - there is a little "dial" that I can use. As for wattage and all that stuff - I have no idea. It doesn't have anything that fancy! Probably best since it seems I wouldn't understand it anyway! All I know is that it's kept me off cigs for 29 days and counting.Your questions aren't stupid! Only NOT asking questions is stupid.

I think people are convinced that they understand Vaping and Vaporizers. They also worry about everything that could go wrong. I wrote an article about this not to long ago that I like to call "The Unicorn Theory." I won't go into too much detail here, as this isn't the place for it considering the forum header, but essentially it just goes over peoples expectations versus the reality that they like to try to deny. Good or bad, we shouldn't deny the realities of the situations around us, it only serves to hinder our own growth.

Thanks so much for your help.
How long have you been in business for?
We opened our store two months ago.
Good to know. I initially started off with it open all the way. I've been messing with it until I got it where I like it- it's around 1/3 open. I didn't know about the possibility of a burnt hit or trashed coil if it's closed all the way. Thanks...again.The airflow is very important.
I would start with it all the way open and then if it's too airy close it off a little bit.
Always be careful to make sure it's open because if it accidentally gets closed off you can get a burnt hit or even ruin your coil.
I'm on Vancouver Island in BC, you might see an order from me at some point! We opened our store two months ago.
