I have the following question. The past few months I took up a preference for vaping. A question I have is what battery doesn't have or has a longer battery auto switch off? So far two variable voltage batteries went down to 8 seconds. It blocks ergonomical use of the e-cigarette.
I run into the same issue since I’m a fan of longer puffs. Devices with 10 second cut offs just don’t cut it for me (sorry about that pun). I often need at least 15 seconds and sometimes longer.
The longest cutoff in an affordably-priced regulated device I’ve come across is the Innokin SVD 2.0. It has a whopping 24 second cutoff. That, plus the fact that it has an authentic Evolv DNA 20 board, has made it a real treat to use since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It’s priced pretty well at about $80 to $90 depending on where you get it. I expect there will be some sales on it over the holidays that will bring the price lower. I plan on getting another one.
There are other devices with longer cutoffs but they tend to be the pricier ones. Provari’s have a 16 second cutoff (both the 2.5 and the 3.0). The 3.0 is outrageously priced for the features; the 2.5 is more reasonable, especially if you get one from their “blemished” section.
Any authentic Evolv DNA device, such as the DNA30 or DNA40 will have a cut off in the close to 20 second range. A lot of mods use the authentic DNA with prices ranging from decent (Vapor Shark) to way up there (Vapor Flask).
Of course, you can always go the mechanical mod route which won’t cut off until you take your finger off the switch. Those are very simple devices but require a lot more knowledge about how to use them properly versus a regulated device.
