30+mm rda build ideas

I am curious to know what you guys are running for coils on these bigger decks. I like running dual fused claptons around .2 ohms and around 140 watts for the amount of vapour it makes. When I run these in most 24mm rdas they start getting hot pretty quick. Thinking of searching out a bigger atty so I can keep the vapor and loose some of the heat.

In general I am having a hard time getting my head wrapped around what type of coil setup would be more appropriate for a bigger atty vs smaller 24mm etc. As it seems to me the main difference would be physical space obviously, and airflow to reduce heat?

I would love to hear about other experiences with bigger decks and when they use them over smaller ones. Coil builds welcomes as well of course.

4x26 or 28 w/40G wrapped claptons do very nicely on these decks. What I am using in all four of the 30+ mm decks I have in play at the moment.

Depends if it’s a a 30mm that’s just big or actually made for fun coils.

My warhead can really only fit claptons or thicker round wire.

I got a shield cig mark 44 that can fit really insane coils and hold 8 at a time as long as the diameter is small. Usually run my 30mm at at least 250 watts.

That’s funny, I just called the 30mm deathtrap rda a “gladiator arena” in the post your builds thread. I’ve been trying to find a good coil setup for it, it’s a 30mm single coil deck
