36 or 38 wrapped clapton wire in the UK

I can't seem to find any clapton wire in the UK wrapped in anything other than 32ga. I know it's slightly more specialised, but even geekvape list a 26x2/38 wire on their site but I can't find it anywhere.

Are there any independent clapton wire makers in the UK that anyone would be able to recommend? I'm after a few different types - kanthal 28x2/38 and ni80 26ga single core to name two.

Buy some plain wire... make you own.

I kniw of only 1 supplier the small wrap wire Lightning Vapes.

Me I'd rather pay the $30 to buy a drill and fishing spinner and wire for dozens of coils thn. Nearly the same amount per build.

beside with DIY I get to adjust materials and builds... to my preferences. Not stuck with what someone else liked.

I've considered it but I'm far too obsessive over minor details, such as getting the perfect pitch/consistency etc. I even buy twisted wire pre-made for this reason.

And that's why I dont.... can't get premade stuff made the way i want. Unless I have it made specifically for me. In which case I might as well diy.

I might buy a precoiled build if I am not sure about where to start on a build. But i won't buy a spool of specialty wire to try out a build. Don't mind tossing a coil or 2 that suck.... but a spool of wire I can't or won't use is just waste. Even if the spool costed less.. it just feels more wrong to me.

Fwiw... ugly builds often perform and taste best anyway.

They also sell separate sets of coils instead of spooled wire ;)
