510 connection from an old cigalike?

Im wanting to make my own mod and i was wondering if you could get a 510 connection from a cigalike. I've saw people screw on their tanks to cigalike batteries, so could you make it work?

You sure can.
The drawbacks would be a static 510 pin and sub par conductivity due to plated metals but it's entirely possible.
I've jimmied a few together myself but I'd suggest ponying up the $5 for a decent Vseries connection.

at the time i can't order anything. i wanted to build something cheap because its my first build and i didn't wanna put a whole lot of money into it just incase it explodes or something like that. lol
