We have a saying here, "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Seems like you're getting a "great" vape as it is.

The rule of thumb is the same with any vape device. Start low and work your way up. If it starts to taste funny, gets too warm, or starts to taste burnt back it down. You'll find the sweet spot.

I have a few of the Subtank Mini's and wrap my own coils around .5 ohms, rarely ever reach 30 watts, usually in the 22 - 25 range. Everyone is different though so you'll just have to experiment and risk the coil.
