accidentally put batteries in backwards on parallel box mod

i was being kind of careless and accidentally put the battery in backwards and there was a tiny spark and there is a very small black mark on the negative of the battery that was upside down i put them in a regulated mod and they still work but is there danger in using it in my regulated mod?

if I was your I would throw out the batteries and replace them with new ones.

Yep, batteries are fairly cheap and I wouldn't risk my face.

They "might" be ok but when you can get quality for around $6 or $7 from Imrbatteries.com and liionwholesale.com why risk it?
