I got the Melon, Cactus, Cherry Shisha and Lemon. They all have the same exact gross chemical taste for me, the best way I could describe it, like those little stink bugs if they were made in to concentrated form.

l just tried this recipe and gosh it's awful

    2% melon
    1.5% Cherry
    1% Cactus
    1% TFA strawberry

All I can taste is the cherry chemical. I tried all of these alone and same awful experience

I bet it does. I vape the cherry at 4 drops per 10 ml as a standalone.

Sounds like it needs to steep. I'd let it steep for up to a month, checking daily of course. Try a warm bath, vortex mixer * if you own one* , open daily and shake. There are different methods out there that you might prefer. You might think about halving the percentages if the steeping doesn't work for you.

Shisha strawberry is prob my fave strawberry and shisha vanilla is good too also inawera biscuit is nice.tfa strawberry isn't that strong a flavour so try upping that to 4% and drop the cherry to 0.25%

I do love me some cactus INW. Yum. But on a first mix I would do a 0.25 to 0.5% to give some green.

I would also leave out cherry.

There's no need to open, unless there's alcohol in the flavor. Otherwise, you just aid in oxidizing the nicotine in your mixture.

I have tried INW Shishia Strawberry and the Melon and both are horrible to me.
Tried both ave strengts from .5% to 10 and not good. Something in those flavors that does not agree with me.
    Many/most love the Shisha Strawberry.
    Not me.

The TFA Strawberry was the worst I've ever tried, had chemical taste so I dumped it out.
List of best to worst IMO:
    INW Shisha Strawberry
    (ECX)FE Strawberry
    TFA Strawberry Ripe
    CAP Sweet Strawberry

Hate all the Cherries except for FA Black Cherry, but 0.5% is a better starting point.

Don't care for the INW Kactus myself but many others like it.
    Never tried the Melon...

I'd guess you can't taste that TFA Strawberry at all over the Inawera flavors. Inawera Melon, Kaktus & their other cherry flavors are really strong & persistent. If you still have some of this mix, this is worth a shot: fill a separate, small bottle about half-full with what you've made, then top it off with your choice of PG/VG/combo. Maybe at 1/2 strength like that I'll be better.

Of the many fruit flavors I have, I like most of them. Kaktus is super nice, though I'm still a bit burnt out on using that flavor (or maybe the real reason is that I'm almost out and I can't stop trying new flavors instead of restocking the Kaktus), plus I'm on a big strawberry kick. I have on order the non-Shisha and the Wild Strawberry, both with mixed reviews. Maybe if I mix those two with TFA's Ripe, FW's and Cap's Sweet Strawbeey I'll have one nice flavor.

I start Inawera flavors like I would Flavour Art. Start tiny amounts for a shake n vape or a tad more for a long steep. As always, taste is subjective and that's my 2 cents.

Not yet. I got scooped by the Summer Sale at Wizard Labs for the other strawberries for less then 1 bottle of the Shisha
. I know this means nothing if the flavors suck. Some of the flavors have good reviews, like the banana which mine is almost gone. Plus it gives me an excuse to ride my bicycle over to WL and pickup my order in person.
I hope I don't get too excited being around all those flavors. I better wear loose fitting pants just in case.

Well, you do get to save on shipping costs anyway.
Once you try the Shisha SB you'll be hooked IMO;).
Strawberry Kiss seems even stronger, but I haven't even tried any yet.
The Cherimoya was even more $$, but it was worth it.

So I've read from others too. It is on my mental list to buy next time.

It's kind of funny now. I resisted buying any strawberry flavors for about a year of DIY because it's such a common flavor. I was all about making new and exciting flavors that no one else has made.
I'm not that excited about doing that anymore other then for myself. I'm more into whipping up something without writing anything down to share. The flavor I play with the most is strawberry. I have a strawberry something steeping right now.

    In a recipe it's a good one. Alone? I don't know.

As for cherry flavor... the TFA Cherry Extract is the best I've tried -- not too tart or sweet, not medicinal nor maraschino -- INW cherries is extremely medicinal; dunno about their shisha cherry. For strawberry though, INW shisha strawberry is only one worth having at all, as it's the only one that actually tastes like strawberries. You can't go by what Cromwell said unless you yourself are a legitimate "super taster," because he is, so everything tastes funky to him.

I use the shisha strawberry at 14.5%, and it doesn't taste "chemical" at all to me, it tastes like strawberries! I use it that strong so I can actually TASTE it, not just smell it.

I really like it added in with most anything at 1%.
I wouldn't go over 2% tho if trying it as a stand alone.

Depends some of what your definition of Biscuit is.

I like there flavors especially Biscuit and Peanuts.
I add a bit of the Peanuts to any peanut butter mix, it adds the dry roasted note I love.

    Metal?
I have to wonder if that is not perhaps at least partially due to external auditory factors in your usual general vaping environment....

This. Your percents are way off. Have you tried the flavorings individually to see how they will react with each other?
