Nope, I did a few test runs but can't replicate that coil.
I would not attempt it. More than happy with my dual parallel 26 gauge.
Looks to me like a long snake shaped steel wire with 5 strands of flat wire woven within it, then rolled into a tube.
Seems the snake wire is there just to hold the kanthal and is not part of the circuit.
I would suspect this one takes a long time to cool down once it's heated.

Well I did a little more digging and actually found the answer to my own question. This was recently made by TwistedMesses and he hasn't done a video on it yet. This hammering technique is something I haven't tried YET just waiting on some wire from Kidney Puncher to come in and I'll give it a go. Anyways here's the info on the build, if any of you guys/girls attempt this please share your experience and see if we can replicate this build.
