NO screwdriver for the flathead screws
Required 9 grown men and a gnu to remove the top cap the first time
Delrin drip tip (threaded) will get negative points
Textured metal interior - will this be a problem for long term use with certain liquids?
- don't know, just never had one with anything other than smooth surface
Barrel and top section either doesn't come apart or I'm just not capable of doing so
Base of the deck has 3 pin holes (vent) to allow airflow as you fill or as juice travels through the wicking
- (one under each coil and one between post and edge of deck)
Slots keep the barrel in place so you can adjust airflow as desired without turning it all
- (we've seen this on a few others in the past)
Center fill port with O-ring
- (all small tips will fit but the larger glass juicers may not, I don't have one to test)
Around the base it says:
"We've seen the age of enlightenment; of reformation; of reason. Now, the age of desire. And after this, an end to ages; an end, perhaps, to everything."
- WTF?!?
She's a spitter!
First: Would I buy this all over again if I didn't have one with what I know now?
No
I'm not saying it is the worst RDTA on the market but since there are plenty of them that do so much better than this one I wouldn't spend $ on this one.
Why?
1. Spitback
2. Theaded delrin drip tip
3. Fill port
4. Only holds 4ml
5. I would say it drinks juice but with the amount of spit-back there is, realistically the user is drinking the juice
6. Barrel and top ring don't separate
7. Textured inside finish
8. Short drip tip
So what IS good about it?
1. It didn't arrive broken
2. ?
