battery level indicator

I just purchased an ipv mini 2 plus some extra batteries. I threw the batteries on my charger but was so eager to try the ipv that I used an older and cheaper battery I had lying around. Everytime I ulsed the mod the indicator read zero battery power but when I let go it said it was on full power. Why is it doing this and is it bad for my mod?

Depends, if it is an old battery I'd just trash it or see what it does when you put a different battery in it to eliminate a problem the old battery may be having?

I threw a newer battery in there but it still does the same thing. It'll say its mostly charged in standby mode, but when I fire it the indicator reads that the battery is only halfway charged. Do all regulated box mods do this?

Mine don't but I don't really know the IPV mini 2 , I have the older one.

what ohm is your coil and what battery(ies) you trying to use?

Its a standard occ 1.2 coil and im using an efest battery

efest should be able to handle 1.2 ohm without a problem. Sorry, dunno what to suggest

Problem resolved! I think. I talked to other people and it looks like its a pretty common thing. It'll read lower when fired because the battery is under load.

oh, okay, so it is getting enough power through to fire it? good to hear
