yes i tried but nothing changedDid you try tightening the Phillips screw underneath the bottom of the deck that sits next to the 510?
Yes mine was a little loose I backed out the Phillips screw underneath then re tightened it and it's been fine.
i did the same ... but when i removed the screw the post is lose in it place .. it less than millimeter bigger than the post leg ... so even i tighten it still lose
YES, I had the same problem with two Bonza RDAs - I even tried a tiny bit of 'Loc-Tite' (blue) to the lil screw that is suppose to hold the negative post in place - DO NOT USE 'Loc-Tite', it will hold, BUT it is not conductive and will make the ohms reading of the coil crazy (also I am sure the coil will not receive the full wattage). I had a heck of a time getting all the 'Loc-Tite' out of the screw hole of the negative post!
I just took a larger handled screw driver (with a bit that fit the lil screw tight) and tightened the lil screw much as possible, while holding the top of the negative post with some small channel locks (DO NOT hold the deck! The negative post will torque in the hole on the deck and make things even worse!) - the post still moves a bit when installing a coil, but it works fine. You may have to install the new 'O-ring' from the goodies pack. Always tighten the lil screw that holds the negative post before installing new coils - and leave it tight once you have it tight, no loosening it!
The square hole, that is machined on the deck, to accept the negative post, does NOT fit the negative post snug at all - and that is the problem.
ALL RDAs should be milled, so that the negative post is actually part of the metal of the deck (one piece) - but we live in a day where companies cut the cost of making a product, just to make a buck - Vandy Vape seems to be no different.
Also beware - if you tighten down the screws on the clamps too much (while installing a coil), you will bend the clamps.
thank you very much for your reply bro
i did the same except the lock-tight ... at last i found the same the square hole is a hair bigger than the post leg
so tightened the screw and now it only move when i tighten the coils
yep, mine is on the side lines because of that and the fact that I prefer post-less decks now for better single coil builds/vapes. VV screwed the pooch for bogan on this one IMO.
Vandy Vape could careless about their customers. They have popular people to name a product after for sales. Their customer service is worse than horrible. Sorry to hear there is what sounds like serious problems.
Exactly. Vandy new what they were doing when they collaborated with popular reviewers because it would be very easy to get VV products out to the masses and sell like hot cakes. Smart marketing on their part but a shame they were obviously more concerned with pumping out volume before making sure the products were ready for market.Vandy Vape could careless about their customers.
