CALL TO ACTION – Abilene City Council to consider Ecig Ordinance
All vapers and owners or employees of vapor businesses in or near Abilene, Texas, please consider attending the Abilene City Council meeting this Thursday, July 24th.
The City is considering instituting and ordinance that will prevent the use of vapor products within 20 feet of any smoke free establishment. As we have not yet seen the actual proposed ordinance, it is critical that vapor retail shop owners obtain a copy to make sure that it will not shut down your vapor liquid testing bars.
Vapers who feel that they would like some help with what to say or guidance on how to conduct themselves in a city council meeting should contact Vaping Militia on their Facebook page or at www.vapingmilitia.org
Vapor store owners who have not testified before a city council or other legislative body should contact the Smoke Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA) on their page on Facebook or at their website at www.SFATA.org or contact Mark Burton or Doug Hughes on their Private Messages on Facebook. Business owners, it is critical that you remember that you are limited as to what you may say in a hearing.
