Cleaning tanks?

Do you guys clean your new tanks before using it?
What do you guys use?
A buddy of mine recommended boiling it before anything else.
When using a new flavor in the tank, what do you guys do to
remove all the residue and old flavor?

I just disassemble and clean it with dish soap and a toothbrush. Machine oil is what you need to clean off and soap will do just fine and rinses of easily.

Some people use vodka or isopropyl or boil it or ultrasonic clean it but soap is what I've used since 07. An ultrasonic would be disco if I had one but I dont

Oh yeah, I will rinse the tank out in the sink, no soap when changing flavors out. Completely dry it out.
Remove any small orings that could fall off and go down the drain.

yep, hot water and little bit of dish soap when new, and just straight hot water any time after that.

I wouldn't want to use Isopropyl alcohol, but ethyl alcohol (everclear, vodka) seems like it'd be fine.

I use a heated Ultrasonic bath in soap and water , then a rinse in warm water . I lube it with VG when I put it back together . I have found that some tanks will seize up if not lubed .

I never clean it unless I'm going from say a fruit to a caramel. Otherwise just fill up with new juice and enjoy.

Hot dishsoapy water, swirl for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly.
