received the Cthulhu Shuriken RDA from giveaway here on VU

received it Friday, finally got some time to sit down and put a build on it

initial impressions - not sure if the packaging is the retail packaging, but i liked the way it was packaged - compact plastic box - came with extra AFC ring (smaller ports for flava chasing) and AFC ring on cap with larger ports (for chasin dem clouds)... machining looks good - and no machine oil/ CNC fluid smells, though gave it a good cleaning out of the box... couple spare orings, allen wrench also included in packaging, along with a 510 drip tip adapter for cap (comes with chuff cap installed)... one thing I did notice is that the cap was a little loose on the base - though larger o-rings on deck base would likely remedy that

now, the vape...

good vapor production - using the chuff cap - only running it at about 75 watts for now - little bit of ramp up time, but nice vape

one con, though - the o-rings are loose enough that the cap actually wobbles a little when vaping - not a fan of that - going to try swapping out the o-rings with some from my stash and see if that corrects the issue

initially just put some unflavored in to break it in and see how it was performing - going to add some flava (and swap out those pesky o-rings) and see what's what... back in a bit...

o-ring swap seems to have resolved cap wobble - on left, original (clear), on right, the one i put on instead (black) - same thickness of o-ring, just larger ID/OD...

flavor is very nice, even with larger holed AFC ring - going to vape on it for a bit, then swap out to other AFC ring and give 'er a run

thus far, very nice little RDA - easy to build on, well made, very good vape

another note - the hole for the 510 drip tip adapter is a little large - 510 drip tips not snug in it, got some wobble there - would recommend checking specs on that and making the 510 drip tip hole a little smaller

overall, really enjoying this RDA - think i may begin using it as a flavor tester for my mixin' misadventures - with the smaller air hole AFC on it and a 510 tip, great flavor and very solid performance

nice job, Cthulhu!
