About 6 weeks ago I asked 4 Xtar and 2 Pila had failed? All going into protection. Better, first would be look at batteries. 6 chargers fail at once?

LG.HG2. now they are not holding a charge. Escribe says getting 1000mah at 2.9v.
There are about 140 cycles on these. Good thing I count.

I got an entire case of bad cells! They do not seem fake or darn good. Other weird thing is sometimes they run until shutoff and come out at over 4v. These are gone. Are there bad lot's or just really good fakes?

I apologize if this seems stupid. However a good 18650 should last at least twice this long. Issue is internal resistance is too high. Put dummy load with Multimeter. Of course by now I am a very advanced vaper but I did not know if there were 1:1 fakes or just bad lots? I do not mess around with this. Went to recycle.

    Thanks

A properly charged 18650 battery will be 4.2 volt at full charge. and should be recharged BEFORE YOU GET TO 3 VOLTS. 3.7 IS nominal VOLTAGE. Is basically 1/2 way between full charge and dead.
