First the title, how on earth could Death due to cigarette smoking is significantly higher when just about EVERY death that occurs when a person has smoked 100 cigarettes in their LIFETIME or ever worked at a place that allowed smoking from the 1950's through 90's and/or EVER lived with a person who smoked in the house is ALREADY considered a smoking related death?

"Another concern that the researchers have expressed is the rising trend in the use of e-cigarettes which have not shown any degree of ability to contain or eliminate the dangers from tobacco smoking. Of the 12 different forms of cancer, lung cancer leads the cause of death and vaping or e cigarettes are unlikely to minimize or mitigate the impact on the smokers’ lungs."

And how could this possibly true?

There isn't even any cherry picked "scientific" data linked to the claim.

I guess if they were talking about smokers who only vaped when they could not smoke it would be true - 5150
