Different Brand Tank

I was wondering if using a different brand tank, with the same screw size, would harm my mod in any way? The tank for this new mod I bought is a lot smaller than my old one, and my old tank, of a different brand, has the same size screw. I tested it a few times and it did work. But I'm not sure if using it long term would hurt the mod.

Don't think it should be a problem.....
Can you give us the brand/name/model of the tank and mod?

Shouldn't be a problem. The tank doesn't have any proprietary issues as far as I can tell. The mod it normally comes with has 510 threading so the mod should accept any tank that has 510 threading.

Sorry this took so long to reply. The mod is the Haus Mod Kit that you get from Walmart. And the tank is the mini riptide.

The Amigo coils that are used for that tank are pretty good. Also, compared to most factory coils, they are one of the more affordable ones. I got an Amigo tank with my SmokeTip kit 18 months ago and have been very happy with it. The top-fill versions are a nice improvement.
