Do these look like healthy coils?

I just got this build not even a week ago and this is after I dry burned them.

Are they heating evenly? If not get them nice and hot then make sure you let off the fire button and squeeze them (with needle nose pliers or strong tweezers)to keep them tight. Also check that your post screws aren't loose.

They heat evenly sometimes, but that happens with all my builds. About the coils heating unevenly sometimes, do you think it has anything to do with this chip in my contact piece? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412085389.312661.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1412085416.560975.jpg

No I wouldn't think so. Electricity takes the easiest path. Usually tightening or straightening fixes this issue. Also if a post screw is loose cause bad connection.

So should I just tighten all of the screws?

Just check them to see if they are snug if you over tighten you can break the kanthal
