Dripbox Weird taste.

Hello, new to the forum, new to vaping. Picked up a Kanger dripbox. Pretty happy with it for starting out. Recently started giving an odd taste. Not burnt, but weird. Replaced wicking in first coil with some use, soaked cotton good, let sit for a few minutes. Cleaned coil by dry firing and dipping in water. Wicked second coil, also cleaned, soaked in juice well, no luck. What do you think? Could it be the juice? Im vaping 20/80 vg/pg.

Hot spots on the coil, fire it with the top off and watch the coils, if they turn red its a hot spot.

Buy some organic cotton and teach yourself how to rewick coils...Youtube is a useful site for such endeavors.

But they did not turn red. Im thinking I didnt use a thick enough piece of cotton?

Dry fire and remove hot spots before you wick. Never fire with dry cotton.

Yes, I dry fired untill coils were red, then dipped in water. Repeated process twice.
