This is how ours looks now:
You can see that band of heavy rain that just passed over us, and some of that wintry-mix shit still to come, but until the temp drops about 5-6 degrees, we won't have much to worry about. Of course it might change drastically after dark when it cools a lot.

This is so totally unfair. Snow all around us, especially to the north, but it's like Lawrenceville has a fucking forcefield or something, keeping the rain over us, keeping the snow away.

Snowing like hell here!
Many folks left at 7, break time. There was nothing on the roads. Had they waited until 11, things may have been interesting. I didn't get over 40 all the way home.

They do not care if you have secrets, or not. It is the whole principle
of you being aware you're under constant surveillance, as it seems
so us all. The presumption of innocence no longer exists. You are
presumed guilty no matter if you are or not. This is also psychological
intimidation in as much as you are no longer afforded privacy. The only
privacy you have are your thoughts in your mind, and yes they are
rapidly working toward finding means to access those with or without
your consent.
And no, I'm not attempting to be all doom and gloom, nor do I think of
myself as paranoid. I am aware of how the world is currently & has
been for quite a while now. I also am aware of some occult information.
Occult in the context I express here simply means hidden or obscured.
It is that information and love which continually keep me from wholly going
swimming in the deepest ends, and being paranoid.
Suffice it to say, I do not feel intimidated by the watching either. Matter
of fact it likely behooves the watchers to be intimidated regarding me. I'll
break keen on them and begin a campaign of speaking and writing Latin,
or even Sanskrit exclusively. Then, I'll dare them to tell me that I do not
say what I mean and mean what I say. Latin is what they use currently
to craft their spells of fraud, not that I would use it for fraud but rather to
remedy it.

I thought the Russians adopted the modern calendar right after the Revoluntion.

Nah, we put away the regular Christmas stuff and pull out Finnish and Russian stuff for the Orthodox celebration. I'm not feeling too good this year so am not doing any of the fun stuff like starring and throwing candy

I recovered mostly and consider that I have already spent 16 years in hell.

My grandparents and my wife's grandparents were/are Irish Catholics. Neither my wife or I are. My wifes grandmother is as straight as an arrow all year but, on Christmas Eve, after church, she drinks lol. The brothers drink, aunts and uncles drink, basically everybody old enough or close to old enough lol.
Have broken up a few Christmas Eve fights over the years.

The last one was bad but funny. It involved my brother in law slamming his uncles head against the refrigerator and his 375 pound cousin had to tackle him and sat on him to get him to stop.

My husband... has a genetic legacy from the irish, the scots, and native americans (Cherokee). Guess where we met? Well, it wasn't at a bar.
AFAIK, I have no native american in my gene pool.... but scots, irish, english... got all those. So AA is a much better place for me to meet people, than a bar.

I think the funniest was several years ago, when one of my cousins accidentally shot his brother in the foot with a .22 during the reception at my grandparent's house

Yep, I still manage to have fun. Wifey doesn't find it fun when I am on the back porch singing......... or in the kitchen, passed out ON my cheesesteak.
Get better soonI think I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow. Woke up this morning with a sore throat and stuffy head. Now it feels like I'm swallowing ground glass so I'm wondering if it's not strep. Plus my chest has gotten tight. Ugh...I have to work this weekend and I sure as hell don't want to be sick while I'm there.
