I'm done with efun.top, despite the fact that I gave them more than once the benefit of the doubt, and been more patient and polite then other people even with reviews. But I won't let it go and mark it as it can happen, because while it can happen it should not, nor should customers be treated like that.
Long story so get your reading glasses ready.
As I joined VU first thing I found were the pages long advertising by efun. To that time the prices did attract me, and I got sucked into the hype train. It didn't bother me that items were shipped from China, and therefore would take a bit longer. Done it before with non vaping related products and other companies, in fact in a lot of cases I had better experience with them then actual US or EU vendors.
First order arrived amazingly quick, but right of the bet the packaging was lacking, I should assume that packages are wrapped/packaged properly, especially if they travel across the globe. I received 2 mods and a atomizer wrapped in a bubble wrap envelope. The envelope did look like it took some beating and did have some holes and marks on it. However the products inside were intact, surprisingly.
So after the first scare I unwrapped my products, and the RDTA packaging looked like it have been returned at some point, and was being resold. I own a retailing business, I'm well aware how that looks like. I then turned around the package, assuming it might be a clone but nope its legit, at least at first glance.
The box itself states the containing items but needless to say, that's not what I've gotten. My package was having transparent replacement glass, that was already cracked, while the package stated that a smoky replacement glass would be included. Furthermore, the drip tip, 510 drip tip adapter and the little silicone sleeve, that closes the airholes when running it as single coil build were missing.
I messaged efun right that same day, knowing well that they are 9+ hrs ahead of my timezone, and therefore not accepting a respond within an hour.
They responded a day later, again not a problem or something I want to criticize at this point, requesting pictures. I understand that lots of people try to mislead them etc, so again I did not have problems providing them. I took around 15 pictures due to their requirements of packaging, address label, product and boxing etc. I asked in the email to send me just the missing accessory bag, since without it the RDTA is unusable, but if that would be such a hassle to just give me a small store credit, I could apply to my upcoming orders.
I did not like other customers ask for a full replacement or refund.
They never responded, I then messaged them again 2 days later, asking if they received my mail, but no respond. First mail went out September 25th, I got a response on the 26th, sent pictures same day, sent second email aka follow up on September 29th. On October 9th I then made a post in their promo thread here on the forums, thinking I might get either a response or some kind of information regarding this RDTA from the first order, and the 2 additional mods from my second order. We will get to that in a second.
Zoe responded with of course an scripted apology, and if she would be given the order numbers she would check it out. I opened a private conversation via pm here on the forums, and give out my private information regarding these orders.
Again there was no response till October 11th, giving me some excuse why my second order hasn't been shipped, I'll explain that in a moment, but nothing about the RDTA. Then on October 12th, she requested a video for the item in question.
I by then had it, took nearly a month from the order placed to the point of requesting a video, I'm not sure how other people handle that but I do not keep boxes and packaging around that long. So I said, I would like to use my RDTA, screw them and went out and bought a $9.99 810 drip tip, since the 510 converter is missing, as well as a $7 silicone sleeve to make it single coil and a $4 glass replacement since mine were cracked and called it a day. However if I wanted to spend that additional money, I could have ordered a better tank at a US vendor.
My 2nd order that was placed, were during the time the first package was in transit, I didn't receive either order to that time, or I would have not placed a second order to begin with.
Anyways, these items were marked as "ship in 24hrs" and were also marked as nearly out of stock, hence I ordered 2 of them at a good price on September 26th. Not knowing that there's an upcoming holiday. NP my bad for not checking, however the webpage stated, orders placed before September 27th will ship October 5th. That's what I went by, then as I didn't got a shipping confirmation by that date, I felt something might not be right.
Checked my bank account and it was paid for September 26th, same day I placed the order. Went to the webpage itself, looked at my order and it says processing. Till October 11th as you can see from my story above, I got no idea if that package ever goes out, if something went wrong or if I should just cancel the payment.
On October 11th, I then got informed that the item is in pre order, but they shipped out to me now. First of all that's some excuse I might let slide if it would be the truth, but it is not, might have gone into pre order during the time I waited for it being shipped, but as it was ordered that didn't apply. Furthermore if that excuse is viable, whyvall the sudden as I make a remark on the forums about there horrible customer service, the item can be taken out of pre order status and be shipped? Makes no sense.
Anyways, now if it were me and a customer complains, I'll make sure I get that package to the USPS or ups myself but not here. Since they were already given an extra $20 for an RDTA that's not usable without my extra purchases, neither has been refunded or any kind of solution offeree, could have been taken and put into express shipping but nope, same carrier I picked and paid an additional $15 for.
Now I got a tracking number, that showed nothing for the first 4 days, now the last 5 days its saying the same thing. I can't track it here in the us, the webpage link they gave me is not in English, so have to translate it. Its now October 21st, still no package or do I even know were the package is, I do assume its on its way to the US as stated in Chinese on the page, but I wouldn't know.
Sorry for that long story, but by now I'm done, others should not have to deal with that issue, its very frustrating. I won't change my review even if I might get a solution offered in return, but I think I was patiently enough. Other businesses would have send out full replacements or store credit, or even a somewhat good customer service. I won't ever order there again, and if my package is not trackable or arrives by next Tuesday, I'll have the full $160 refunded including shipping, call to my bank is all it takes. To bad I might have to go that route and the frustration that comes with it.
