No, because IMR batteries gas out. They don't explode. The pressure from the gas produces the shrapnel if the device has no ventilation.

Though comprehensive, I disagree with quite a few things he's stating:
The statement that a 3000mAh will last 1 hour at 3A and 3 hours at 1A.
The statement the ICR are common and desirable amongst vapers and IMR is not.
The statement the 6A is enough for modern regulated mods.
The statement that only batteries explode/melt/burn and mods never do or cause the problem.
Suggesting to use batteries with built-in protection (ICRs) in mechs.
He forgot to mention that over discharging IMRs/INRs may result it catastrophic failure once recharged.

Might have missed a few things.

Let's pretend we are all idiots and we carry loose batteries in our pockets.

Would this help us not blow our face and/or nutsacks off?

Is there a better battery safety guide that i can sticky?

anyone have any links?

Yep, like this:
A Li-ion battery can be stored at room temperature and in its original packaging for 10 years or more without affecting its load capacity.
Uh, no. Li-ion batteries lose at least a few percent of their capacity each year in storage. 10 years in storage will definitely result in a significant decrease in capacity.

If nothing else it will make some people think!!

Does not mater what guide you post there will always be someone that will pick it apart on little things losing the intent of the guide in the first place. You could probably find 10 guides out there and all be slightly different but the intent is there and that is SAFETY!!
