Firmware question

Hi! I'm running a Wismec Reuleaux 2/3 mod and the manual talks about plugging it into a computer and downloading firmware. What is the benefit of this?

It's just upgrades to things like TC and any random bug fixes.

Yea, I have had my Rx for a long time and have never updated it. I have had no bugs or anything so I dont even bother with updates unless it would be for a saftey issue.
