First Clapton, First Post

How’re you guys doin. This is my first post, and I built my first Clapton last night, what do you think? I’ve been building my coils for a few weeks. I tried twisted for the first time the other day, and decided to try to wrap a Clapton. It’s 316l ss 24g/28g. Hoping to grab some higher gauge today to make more, thinking of trying fused Claptons and then staggered fused staples (is that the right name?) after that.

Staggered fused Clapton or staple staggered fused Clapton it is lol. Its nicely wrapped and tight. Only thing I would say is that the higher the gauge of wrap wire the quicker it will heat up and cool down. Nice work, hope to be seeing some of your builds in the post your builds section. looks great for a first try man i agree with @KarmicRage about the wraps, and your future submissions to the post your builds thread as well

Good job Chris looking good ...as the guys above said using higher gauge on the wrap and keep 90 degree angle the whole way will close up the gaps a little for you
