oh, it's been a little over 10 years since I worked on the books. cash jobs, under the table etc. don't judge me.

It's at 10am at a staffing agency, projected time is 2-3hrs.

I'm dressed to impress (not a tux, lol step brothers) got my 2 forms of ID.

Got any advice? I'm a little nervous but thinking ahead at my future of having more $$$.

Be confidant, look the people in the eye when you talk to them and ask questions so they can see that you are interested in the job.

Be confident.
Express your VALUE to an employer.

That means highlight your skills, your attendance (no one wants someone with attendance issues), your ability to work as a team or alone, that you are easy to get along with, and that you learn quickly.

Also highlight any accomplishments you made with previous employers, and committees you were on, etc.

Do not bring up politics, religion, or hunting (guns). These can be offputting to some employers.

Make damn sure you also know exactly what you are getting into. Your pay, and their true expectations for that pay, will make the difference between a job you like and one you didn't bargain for.
