First time making some claptons

Hi guys. I had some 28ga kanthal laying around. I wanted to start using it up, so I bought some 32ga kanthal and did some twisted core claptons. Haven't vaped them yet, but they turned out ok.

First build - triple twisted 28g core and 32g wrap.

Second build - double twisted 28g core and 32g wrap.

Nice set of coils. I would recommend getting some 36 or 38 gauge for the outer wrap wire though. Faster ramp up/down and more crevices for juice/flavor. I use 28 and 30 gauge cores when trying to up the ohms for use on a series mech or my single cell squonkers.

nice try .. good looking ones but i would suggest to use 36 to 40 gauge wire for the outer wrap you will get better performance specially when it comes to flavor in addition ramp time is (up/down) is better as well.

enjoy building ... once you use your first hand made coils you will never think to go back to what you have used to use
